An apparatus includes a sensor for sensing pressure, temperature, or another physical parameter at a wellhead assembly or other oilfield component. In one embodiment, an apparatus includes a wellhead body and a branch assembly coupled to the wellhead body such that a bore of the branch assembly is in fluid communication with an interior of the wellhead body through an access passage of the wellhead body. The branch assembly includes a penetration extending outwardly from the bore to an exterior surface of the branch assembly that is radially outward of the bore, and a sensor is installed in the penetration of the branch assembly. Additional systems, devices, and methods are also disclosed.

A system, including a wellhead system, and a flow control system coupled to the wellhead system, wherein the flow control system comprises, a flow control device including a housing, a flow path through the housing from an inlet to an outlet, and a flow control element disposed in the housing along the flow path, and an actuator mounting assembly coupled to the flow control device, wherein the actuator mounting assembly is configured to selectively mount one of a manual actuator and a powered actuator to actuate the flow control element of the flow control device, without taking the flow control system offline.

A choke valve includes a choke body, a choke trim disposed in the choke body, where the choke trim is configured to adjust a cross-sectional area of a flow path in the choke body to adjust a fluid flow through the choke valve, a choke plug of the choke trim disposed in the flow path of the fluid flow, a stem of the choke plug that includes a first material, and a tip portion of the choke plug coupled to the stem, where the tip portion includes a superhard material.

A system includes a subsea chemical injection system configured to inject a chemical into a well, wherein the choke trim comprises a first cylinder comprising a first plurality of spiral flow paths, a second cylinder comprising a second plurality of spiral flow paths, wherein the first cylinder is disposed within the second cylinder, and an outer portion comprising a plurality of axial passages, wherein the second cylinder is disposed within the outer portion.

Low shear trim

A retrievable flow module (RFM) apparatus is provided. In one embodiment, the RFM apparatus is a standalone assembly configured to mate with a subsea device, such as a production tree. The RFM apparatus may include a frame within which various flow control and monitoring elements are disposed. The frame may have an alignment system that enables the RFM apparatus to horizontally mate with the tree. Because the RFM apparatus provides for the collocation of flow control and monitoring elements within a standalone assembly, deployment or retrieval of the flow control and monitoring elements may be accomplished in single operation. Additional systems, devices, and methods are also disclosed.

Retrievable flow module unit

A connection for sub-sea use employs locking dogs that are isolated from seawater and a backup system for operating the backup sleeve to the dogs. The normal actuation system for the backup sleeve is also isolated from seawater exposure. The set position of the backup sleeve is positively retained against the prospect of axial movement that could be triggered by transmitted vibration into the connection.
