A filling device to fill articles with a pourable product comprising: a tubular body internally defining a flow channel; a valve member engaging the tubular body and axially movable within the flow channel to allow or prevent flow of the pourable product; and magnetic actuator configured to drive axial movement of the valve member within the flow channel. The magnetic actuator has a driven magnetic assembly carried by the valve member and a driving magnetic assembly arranged outside the flow channel and configured to be magnetically coupled with the driven magnetic assembly to control the movement of the valve member within the flow channel.

Filling device configured to fill articles with a pourable product

There is described a filling valve () for a filling machine () configured to fill a receptacle () and comprising a flow channel (), having a first passage section () configured to be fluidly connected with the receptacle (), and at least one shutter () movably arranged within the flow channel () and configured to be controlled, during a first operating mode in which the flow channel () is fed with a first pourable product, in: a resting position, in which it defines a first maximum opening passage for the first pourable product; a closing position, in which it is configured to sealingly cooperate with the first passage section () so as to prevent any fluidic connection between this latter and the receptacle (); and at least one intermediate position, in which it defines a respective intermediate opening passage, so as to allow a partial flow rate of the first pourable product towards said receptacle; the flow channel () has a second passage section () configured to be fluidly connected with the first passage section () and with the receptacle (); the shutter () is configured to be further controlled, during a second operating mode in which the flow channel () is fed with a second pourable product having solid particles in suspension, in: the resting position, in which it defines a second maximum opening passage for the second pourable product; and a partial closing position, in which it defines a restricted passage for the second pourable product.

Filling valve and filling machine for filling receptacles

A filling device for a filling machine configured to fill receptacles with a pourable product, comprising: a tubular body having a longitudinal axis, defining a central flowing channel for the pourable product, and terminating at a lower end with an axial outlet opening adapted to deliver the pourable product to a receptacle to be filled, wherein the channel includes a tapered-section portion located at a given axial distance from, and above, the outlet opening and tapering towards the outlet opening up to a narrowed-section zone; a shutter movable within the channel; and at least one exhaust conduit arranged on an outer circumference than the channel with reference to the longitudinal axis; wherein the channel includes an enlarged-section portion located immediately below the tapered-section portion, having a larger diameter than the narrowed-section zone, and defining an expansion chamber receiving a bottom end opening of the exhaust conduit.

Filling device for filling machine

A flow control valve for a filling machine configured to fill receptacles with a pourable product, the flow control valve comprising: a tubular body defining a channel for the pourable product, the tubular body having a longitudinal axis and terminating with at least one narrowed end mouth; and a shutter movable within the channel between a closed position, and an open position. The shutter includes a main portion coupled in a sliding manner with an inner surface of the tubular body; and a narrowed closing head, wherein the main portion of the shutter includes a flat plate extending along a diameter of the channel with respect to the longitudinal axis, contacting the inner surface of the tubular body at opposite sides and defining, with the remaining portions of the inner surface, two opposite cavities, which have respective profiles shaped as circular segments and through which the pourable product can flow during operation.

Flow control valve for filling machine

A machine for filling containers, comprising: a conveying device; a plurality of handling units configured to be moved by the conveying device along a path, each of the plurality of handling units having: a support device configured to receive and retain a corresponding container; and a filling device configured to feed a pourable product into the container; and at least one actuator associated with the plurality of handling units and configured to rotate each support device about a corresponding first rotation axis, the at least one actuator including a single motor and a transmission to connect the single motor with at least two support devices.

Machine for filling containers

A unit for carrying out an operation on a container fillable with a pourable product is disclosed. The unit comprises: a first area; a second area; at least one operative head, which is adapted to carry out the operation; at least one gripping device for gripping the container and which is movable between a rest position, in which the at least one gripping device receives or discharges the container; and an operative position, in which the at least one gripping device sets the container in a position in which the container undergoes the operation. The unit further comprises: a movable element, which is operatively connected to the at least one gripping device for moving the at least one gripping device between the rest position and the operative position, and which comprises a portion movable between the first area and the second area; and a bellow.

Unit for carrying out an operation on a container fillable with a pourable product

A filling unit for contact or contactless filling an article is disclosed. The filling unit includes a tank comprising: a first valve, which may allow or prevent the fluidic connection between a first region of the tank and the article; a first fluidic line which extends from the tank to the article in case of contact filling; a second valve, which may allow or prevent the flow along the first fluidic line; and a control unit configured to set the first valve in a first closed configuration and the second valve in a second open configuration in case of contact filling. The filling unit further includes a second fluidic line distinct from the first fluidic line and extends from the inner volume of the article to a discharge area distinct from the tank; and a third valve, which may allow or prevent the flow along the second fluidic line.

Filling unit and method for filling an article with a pourable product

A flow-rate selector having a main body at least partially defining a duct for feeding a pourable product; a shutter body mobile, within the main body, between a relative downstream stop position, in which the shutter body at least partially engages a segment of the main body defining an outlet of the pourable product, and a relative upstream stop position in which the body leaves the outlet segment free. The shutter body having a tubular body defining internally a duct through which the pourable product can flow and which has a smaller section than the section of the feeding duct.
