The various implementations described herein include techniques and apparatuses for multi-channel biopotential signal acquisition, biopotential signal pre-processing, and adaptive signal conditioning. In one aspect, an apparatus is provided for adaptive signal conditioning for biopotential acquisition. The apparatus includes an analog circuit configured to amplify biopotential signals, and a mixed-signal circuit (e.g., which can include an adaptive digital algorithm) coupled to the analog circuit and configured to suppress aggressor signals such as baseline wandering signals and power-line-induced noise in the biopotential signals before amplification of the biopotential signals.

An apparatus, system, and method of reducing and controlling values of at least one characteristic (e.g., impedance) associated with biopotential-signal sensors is provided. The apparatus, system, and method includes monitoring—based on data from a wearable device that includes a biopotential-signal sensor, a characteristic-stabilizing component, and a characteristic monitor—a characteristic at the sensor-skin interface that impacts the biopotential-signal sensor's ability to sense biopotential signals. In accordance with selecting a biopotential-signal sensitivity need, provide an adjustment (e.g., stimulation) to the characteristic in accordance with a sensitivity-stabilizing mode until the characteristic satisfies the first biopotential-signal sensitivity need. The adjustments may be provided in various methods to achieve desired results.

The disclosed computer-implemented method may include determining, by at least one physical processor of a haptic device, driving signal data. The haptic device comprises a first haptic actuator exhibiting a first frequency response characteristic, and a second haptic actuator exhibiting a second frequency response characteristic different from the first frequency response characteristic. The processor may also generate first and second driving signals by applying first and second pre-processing functions to the driving signal data, respectively. The second pre-processing function is different from the first pre-processing function and the second driving signal is different from the first driving signal. The processor may also drive the first and second haptic actuators by supplying the first and second driving signals to the first and second haptic actuators, respectively. Various other methods, systems, and computer-readable media are also disclosed.

Systems and methods for haptic equalization

The disclosed biopotential measurement device may include a front end comprising a biopotential measurement sensor and a back end comprising a processor programmed to process biopotential signals detected by the biopotential measurement sensor. The biopotential measurement device may also include an isolation circuit that, during at least a sampling phase of the biopotential measurement sensor, electrically isolates the front end from the back end. Various other methods, systems, and computer-readable media are also disclosed.
