There is provided a method for resource coordination in a first donor Integrated Access Backhaul (IAB) node connected to a first parent IAB node which is connected to an IAB node, the IAB node further being connected to a second parent IAB node which is connected to a second donor IAB node. The method comprises: sending, to the second donor IAB node, an indication of a first resource configuration for the IAB node, the first resource configuration determined by the first donor IAB node; receiving, from the second donor IAB node, a request for a second resource configuration for the IAB node; and determining a resource configuration for the IAB node based at least on one of the first resource configuration and the second resource configuration.

Methods and nodes for IAB inter-donor multi-parent resource coordination

According to some embodiments, a network node is capable of operating as an integrated access and backhaul (IAB) node comprising a distributed unit (DU) and a mobile termination (MT). The IAB node performs a method comprising; obtaining configuration information for establishing an interface between the IAB node DU and a target IAB donor central unit (CU); and after a handover of the IAB node to the target donor, establishing the interface between the IAB node DU and the target IAB donor CU based on the obtained configuration information.

A method is performed by a source Central Unit (CU) in an Integrated Access and Wireless Access Backhaul (IAB) network. The method includes transmitting, by the source CU, a message requesting a handover of a plurality of migrating devices associated with a first IAB node migrating from the source CU to a target CU. The message comprises at least one globally unique identifier of at least one management function serving the plurality of migrating devices.

Systems and methods are disclosed herein for Quality of Experience (QoE) measurements handling at overload in a Radio Access Network (RAN) of a cellular communications system. In one embodiment, a method performed by a first RAN node for handling QoE measurement configuration and/or reporting during RAN overload comprises performing one or more actions related to one or more aspects of QoE measurement configuration, QoE measurement reporting, or both QoE measurement configuration and QoE measurement reporting that mitigate an RAN overload condition. In one embodiment, performing the one or more actions comprises performing one or more actions related to transfer of one or more aspects of QoE measurement configuration from the first RAN node to a second RAN node, transfer of one or more aspects of QoE measurement reporting from the first RAN node to the second RAN node, or both.

A method by a network node, operating as a target donor CU in an IAB network serving as a candidate donor node for a migrating IAB node and providing connectivity for a UE. A message for IAB handover including contexts of the migrating IAB node and UEs and IAB nodes directly or indirectly served by the migrating IAB node is received. Admission control is performed for the UEs and IAB nodes. A handover command to a mobile termination, MT, of the migrating IAB node, and each UE and MT of the IAB nodes is prepared. A handover acknowledge message including a list of admitted and not admitted PDU session resources and containing the group handover command is sent. A RRC Reconfiguration Complete message is received.

IAB-node handover in inter-CU migration, recursive F1 and RRC signaling aspects

Embodiments include methods, performed by a mobile terminal (MT) of an integrated access backhaul (IAB) node in a radio access network (RAN), for reporting capabilities of cells in the RAN. Such methods include detecting one or more cells in the RAN and determining whether the one or more cells support IAB (e.g., by receiving information broadcast by the respective cells). Such methods also include sending, to a centralized unit (CU, e.g., of abase station) in the RAN, a measurement report including an indication of whether the one or more cells support IAB. Various techniques can be used to indicated IAB support. In some embodiments, the MT can receive a reconfiguration message, from the CU, for a handover to one of the cells that supports IAB. Other embodiments include complementary methods performed by CUs, as well as MTs and CUs configured to perform such methods.

Implicit indication of centralized unit (CU) integrated access backhaul (IAB) capability

Embodiments include methods for a first radio network node (RNN) in a wireless network to configure quality of experience (QoE) measurements by user equipment (UEs). Such methods include receiving, from a measurement function in the wireless network, a QoE measurement configuration (QMC associated with one or more service types; and configuring one or more UEs with the QMC. Such methods also include sending to a second RNN in the wireless network, a first request for handover of a particular one of the UEs from a first cell served by the first RNN via a first radio access technology (RAT) to a second cell served by the second RNN via a second RAT. The first request includes the QMC. Other embodiments include complementary methods performed by a second RNN or by a UE, as well as first RNNs, second RNNs, and UEs configured to perform such methods.

Embodiments herein relate to, for example, a method performed by a source radio network node (), for handling communication in a wireless communications network, wherein the source radio network node is adapted to relay data packets between a first radio network node and a UE in the wireless communications network. The source radio network node () transmits to a target radio network node () a message relating to a cell selection and/or a handover for the UE, wherein the message comprises a first user plane indication, and wherein the first user plane indication is an indication of setting up a user plane communication or not for the UE.

Methods and radio network nodes for handling communication

Embodiments include methods for an integrated access backhaul (IAB) node in a wireless network to migrate from a first centralized unit (CU) to a second CU. Such methods include receiving a handover command from the first CU via a source parent IAB node. The handover command includes an identifier of a target cell for the handover. Such methods include determining that the handover command is for an inter-CU migration of the IAB node to the second CU and, based on determining that the handover command is for an inter-CU migration, performing modified handling of uplink and/or downlink data buffered at the IAB node until execution of the handover command. Embodiments also include complementary methods for handling migration of a child IAB node from a first CU to a second CU, as well as IAB nodes configured to perform such methods.

For example, resource coordination information may be transmitted from a first RAN node to a second RAN node, wherein the resource coordination information defines at least one communication resource that is available for a wireless terminal to use for sidelink communication. According to some other embodiments, resource coordination information may be received at a first RAN node from a second RAN node, wherein the resource coordination information defines at least one communication resource that is available for a wireless terminal to use for sidelink communication. Methods providing resource coordination information between ran nodes for sidelink communications and related network nodes

Methods and apparatuses are disclosed for a closed-loop remote interference management framework. In one embodiment for a victim node, a method includes determining one of at least two messages corresponding to a closed-loop feedback for remote interference mitigation, the at least two messages comprising a first message and a second message, the first message providing a positive mitigation indication and the second message providing a negative mitigation indication, and transmitting the determined one of the at least two messages to another network node. In another embodiment for an aggressor node, a method includes receiving one of at least two messages corresponding to a closed-loop feedback for remote interference mitigation, and taking a remote interference mitigation action based on the received one of at least two messages.

The present disclosure relates to the field of wireless communication, and in particular to a method and arrangement for improving flow control interaction in a low latency distributed radio access network, RAN, including an upper layer RAN node and at least one lower layer RAN node.
