Method to refrigerate a jacket for keeping a transplant cold

A transport assembly which is particularly suitable for transporting medical material, particularly organs and tissues. The assembly includes a tissue container which includes a lid having a clamping assembly associated therewith for clamping an organ. In addition, a reservoir bag and collector bag are respectively connected to the tissue container, such that a physiological fluid can be pumped from the reservoir bag to the tissue container, and with fluid exiting the tissue container gathered in the collector bag. A support holder is also provided, and the support holder, tissue container, collector bag, and reservoir bag can be detachably placed in a box for transport.

Medical transport assembly

The container with a thermally insulated enclosure (100) is equipped with a refrigerating unit (20), with a pumping unit (30), with a control unit and with an electrical power source. This container also comprises a disposable aseptic detachable transporting assembly (60) together with a reservoir bag for a physiological fluid, a collector bag for gathering this fluid, a vessel for transporting an organ with a device for suspending the organ, a fluid dispensing element and pipework (66) for connecting this reservoir bag, dispensing element, vessel and collector bag by passing via the pumping unit. Application for the preservation and transporting of live organs to be transplanted.

Controlled-environment medical container

Apparatus for cooking and/or heating of air, comprising a hearth having at least one hearth plate and a hinged cover which is arranged at the hearth for overlapping the hearth plate, the cover defining a chamber, a partition being provided between the upper wall and the lower wall of the cover for dividing the chamber into a first section and a second section, a passageway being provided for interconnection of said first section with said second section, an inlet being provided in communication with the upper section and an outlet being provided in communication with the lower section of the chamber, and in which the lower wall of the cover may be brought into heat conducting contact with at least one hearth plate.
