A method and an electronic device for processing information are provided. The method is applied in a first electronic device. There is a first correspondence relation between the first electronic device and N second electronic devices, where N is an integer greater than or equal to 1. The method has the steps of detecting to acquire a first operation for the first electronic device, judging whether the first operation meets a first preset condition, and generating by the first electronic device a first prompt effect for the first operation and controlling each of the N second electronic devices to generate the first prompt effect when the first operation meets the first preset condition. The correspondence relation among multiple electronic devices can be determined more conveniently. A prompting method and a related electronic device are also provided to accurately prompt the data transmission process.

Method and electronic device for processing information

A touch control method is provided, which includes obtaining a first input operation from a first touch-sensitive area of an electronic device; in response to the first input operation, controlling a second touch-sensitive area of the electronic device to switch from a first state to a second state, the first state is a non-operating state, the second state is an operating state; obtaining a second input operation through the second touch-sensitive area in the second state, a starting position of the second input operation is located within the first touch-sensitive area, an operation of the second input operation in the starting position includes the first input operation; and in response to the second input operation, generating an operation instruction corresponding to the second input operation.

Touch control method and electronic device

A laptop includes a housing, a touch sensor, a fingerprint sensor and a contact panel. The housing has a through hole. The touch sensor is received in the housing and the touch sensor includes a touch area exposed through the through hole. The fingerprint sensor is received in the housing and the fingerprint sensor includes a fingerprint collecting area exposed through the through hole. The contact panel is arranged at the through hole and covers the touch area and the fingerprint collecting area.

An electronic device includes a main body and an input body. The main body has a display unit and a first contact portion rotatably connected to the display unit. The first contact portion has a first surface and a second surface opposite to the first surface, and at least one part of the first contact portion has a thickness smaller than a thickness of the display unit. The input body includes a second contact portion with a contact surface. When the input body is detachably connected to the main body, the display unit is operable to rotate with respect to the input body, and the contact surface of the second contact portion is operable to engage with the first or second surfaces of the first contact portion by surface-to-surface contacting.

The method including: obtaining an attachment position at which the first body is attached to the second body; controlling the electronic device to operate in a first mode when the first body is attached to the second body at a first attachment position; and controlling the electronic device to operate in a second mode when the first body is attached to the second body at a second attachment position. The first attachment position is different from the second attachment position, and the first mode is different from the second mode.
