An injection mold for molding an electrical connector assembly which includes a plurality of terminals, a clamping component located above the plurality of the terminals, and a base body fastened to the plurality of the terminals and the clamping component. The injection mold includes a lower mold and an upper mold. The lower mold has a plurality of lower terminal grooves. Lower portions of the plurality of the terminals are placed in the plurality of the lower terminal grooves. The clamping component is placed on the lower mold. The upper mold is engaged with and mounted on the lower mold. A molding cavity is formed between the upper mold and the lower mold. The upper mold has a plurality of upper terminal grooves. Upper portions of the plurality of the terminals are placed in the plurality of the upper terminal grooves.

Injection mold

An electrical connector includes an insulating housing, at least one transmission module mounted in the insulating housing, and a shell surrounding the insulating housing. The at least one transmission module includes a terminal assembly, a flexible printed circuit board and at least one pad. The terminal assembly is adhered to the flexible printed circuit board. The terminal assembly has at least one terminal which has a fastening portion. One end of the fastening portion is arched downward to form a bending portion. The flexible printed circuit board has a linking portion, and at least one conductive piece disposed to an inner surface of the linking portion. The fastening portion and the bending portion of the at least one terminal are mounted to the flexible printed circuit board. The at least one pad is disposed to the at least one conductive piece.

Electrical connector

A method of manufacturing an electrical connector includes specific steps described hereinafter. Stamp a plurality of terminals together with a plurality of clamping portions and a clamping element having a material belt. Insert and fix the plurality of the terminals together with the plurality of the clamping portions to a material carrier, and place the material belt above the material carrier. Electroplate the plurality of the terminals and the clamping element. Mold an insulating housing to the plurality of the terminals and the clamping element. Separate the material carrier, the plurality of the clamping portions and the material belt from the plurality of the terminals and the clamping element respectively, thereby completing manufacturing the electrical connector which has the insulating housing, the plurality of the terminals and the clamping element.

Method of manufacturing electrical connector

An elastic element includes a fastening portion, an extending portion connected with the fastening portion, a first bending portion, a first connecting portion connected with the first bending portion, a second bending portion, a second connecting portion, a third connecting portion, a first elastic arm, a fourth connecting portion and a second elastic arm. The first bending portion is connected with a front end of the extending portion. The second bending portion is connected with the first connecting portion. The second connecting portion is connected with a front of the second bending portion. The third connecting portion is connected with a front of the second connecting portion. The first elastic arm is connected with a front end of the third connecting portion. The fourth connecting portion is connected with the first elastic arm. The second elastic arm is connected with a front end of the fourth connecting portion.

Elastic element

An electrical connector includes an insulating base, a plurality of conductive terminals, a circuit board, at least one connection kit, an outer shell receiving the insulating base, and a shielding plate. The plurality of the conductive terminals are inserted to the insulating base. The circuit board is mounted on the insulating base. At least one portion of one end of the circuit board extends outward to form at least one tongue board. The plurality of the golden fingers are connected with the plurality of the conductive terminals. The at least one connection kit is integrally injection-molded by a metal injection molding technology. The at least one connection kit sleeves around the at least one tongue board. The shielding plate is covered on the circuit board.

Adapter

A socket connector includes an insulating housing, a sliding block, a resilient element, a detection terminal assembly assembled to a rear end of the insulating housing, a connection terminal assembly assembled to the rear end of the insulating housing, at least one ground element, and an outer shell surrounding the insulating housing. A top of the insulating housing has a restricting groove. A rear of the restricting groove extends rearward to form a sliding groove. At least one side surface of the insulating housing is recessed inward to form at least one ground groove. A rear of a bottom of connecting space extends downward and rearward to form a holding groove. The sliding block is mounted in the sliding groove. The at least one ground element is received in the at least one ground groove. The resilient element is assembled to a top of the insulating housing.

Socket connector

A plug connector includes an insulating housing, a plurality of detecting terminals, a plurality of connection terminals, an outer shell and at least one ground piece. The insulating housing has a plurality of connection terminal grooves and a plurality of detecting terminal grooves. The plurality of the detecting terminals are assembled in the plurality of the detecting terminal grooves separately. The plurality of the connection terminals are assembled in the plurality of the connection terminal grooves separately. The outer shell surrounds the insulating housing. A top surface of the outer shell protrudes upward and then is bent frontward to form a locking portion. The at least one ground piece is mounted to at least one side of the insulating housing, and a portion of the at least one ground piece is exposed outside from the insulating housing and the outer shell. A receptacle connector is to receive the plug connector and includes a sliding block to cover the detecting terminals and to be raised by the plug connector as it is inserted.

Plug connector

A card connector includes an insulating housing, a plurality of contacts, a projection and a detecting contact set. The insulating housing includes a bottom wall, a right wall and a left wall for defining a receiving space. The contacts are received in the insulating housing. The projection is protruded from the right wall and into the receiving space, which includes a slanting surface slanted relative to the right wall. The detecting contact set is fixed in the insulating housing, which includes a contacting arm protruding from the slating surface of the projection and into the receiving space. Due to the contacting arm of the detecting contact set is protruded from the slanting surface of the projection in the receiving space, the detecting contact set will be actuated while a card is inserted into the receiving space correctly and completely. Since, the detecting accuracy of the card connector is improved.

Card connector

A socket connector includes an insulating housing, at least one terminal set and a switch module. The insulating housing defines an inserting hole. The terminal set and the switch module are respectively received in the insulating housing. The switch module includes a fixed terminal, a movable terminal and an insulating guider. The insulating guider is connected to the moveable terminal and electronically insulated from the moveable terminal for preventing signal transmitted by the socket connector from influence. Because the movable terminal is molded with the insulating guider, the strength of the switch module of the audio socket connector will be improved. Since, the audio socket connector has strong structure and high reliability.

Audio socket connector and switch module

An electrical connector includes a plug connector, a receptacle connector and a locking element. The plug connector includes an insulating housing, a plurality of terminals mounted into the insulating housing, a shell wrapping the insulating housing. The locking element fixed on the plug connector has a top plate, two opposite sides of the top plate are extended downwards to form a pair of locking plates. A front side of the locking element is extended perpendicularly and outwardly to form at least one connecting arm. A top side of the connecting arm is extended frontward to form a locking arm. The locking arm has a front end extended perpendicularly to form a locking end. When the plug connector is inserted into the receptacle connector, the locking element hooks locking potions provided by the receptacle connector to ensure the connection stability between the plug connector and the receptacle connector.

An electrical connector is adapted for being mounted to a printed circuit board. The electrical connector includes a housing, a plurality of terminals, a shell and a bracket. A front edge of a periphery of the housing is protruded outward to form a flange. The terminals are received in the housing. The shell surrounds the housing. A front edge of the shell abuts against the flange. The bracket has a base board, and two opposite ends of the base board extends downward to form two blocking boards. Bottoms of the blocking boards extend outward to form two soldering boards. The base board of the bracket is mounted on the top board of the shell. The blocking boards are mounted on the two side boards. Front edges of the base board and the blocking boards of the bracket abut against the flange.
