The invention provides a display panel, which includes a first substrate, a second substrate, a liquid crystal layer, a light shielding pattern layer and a plurality of pixel structures. The liquid crystal layer is disposed between the first substrate and the second substrate, and includes a plurality of negative liquid crystal molecules. Each of the pixel structures includes a first electrode and a second electrode. The first electrode has an electrode opening and a first finger portion extending into the electrode opening. The second electrode has two second finger portions overlapping the electrode opening. The first finger portion and the two second finger portions are alternately arranged along a first direction inside the electrode opening and extend in a second direction.

Display panel

A display apparatus includes a transparent substrate, a transparent matrix layer, a black matrix layer and a conductive layer. The transparent matrix layer is disposed above the transparent substrate. The black matrix layer is disposed below the transparent substrate. The conductive layer is disposed between the transparent substrate and the black matrix layer.

A liquid crystal display panel includes a pixel array substrate, an opposite substrate, and a twisted nematic (TN) liquid crystal layer located between the two substrates. The pixel array substrate includes a first substrate, gate lines, data lines, thin film transistors (TFTs) coupled to the gate lines and the data lines, a first insulation layer, a transparent conductive layer, a second insulation layer, and pixel electrodes coupled to the TFTs through contact holes in the first and second insulation layers. The first insulation layer covers the gate lines, the data lines, and the TFTs. The transparent conductive layer, the second insulation layer, and the pixel electrodes are sequentially stacked on the first insulation layer and constitute a storage capacitor. A phase retardation value of the TN liquid crystal layer ranges from 250 to 480, and a dielectric anisotropy &#x394;&#x2208; of the TN liquid crystal layer ranges from 3 to 10.

Liquid crystal display panel

A fringe field switching liquid crystal display apparatus is provided. This apparatus includes a first electrode and a second electrode. The first electrode includes a first side edge, a second side edge and plural strips defining plural spacings between the first and the second side edges. Each of the plural strips is formed between two of the plural spacings, and each of the plural spacings has two ends. The second electrode is disposed in a stacked relationship with the first electrode, and includes at least a penetrating vacancy with a projection, which overlaps one of the two ends of one of the plural spacings.
