A method is provided for measuring remaining hydrogen capacity of hydrogen storage canister incorporating tag information. An information identification tag is attached to a hydrogen storage canister. The information identification tag contains therein at least one record of tag information indicating the hydrogen storage quantity of the hydrogen storage canister. Once the hydrogen storage quantity is read from the tag information of the information identification tag and hydrogen consumption quantity supplied from the hydrogen storage canister is detected, the hydrogen storage quantity is operated by subtracting the hydrogen consumption quantity therefrom to calculate a hydrogen residue, which is then used to update the tag information of the information identification tag or is stored for subsequent use.

Method for measuring remaining hydrogen capacity of hydrogen storage canister incorporating RFID device

A gas storage cartridge includes a sealed cartridge unit for storing a gas storage material. The gas storage cartridge is defined by a first slab, a peripheral wall, and a second slab. At least one gas-guiding channel is accommodated within a receptacle of the gas storage cartridge. The first slab has a first gas inlet/outlet port and the second slab has a second gas inlet/outlet port aligned with the gas-guiding channel. Consequently, a gas is guided into the receptacle through the gas-guiding channel to be adsorbed by the gas storage material within the receptacle of the gas storage cartridge. Alternatively, the gas released from the gas storage material can be guided to the first gas inlet/outlet port and the second gas inlet/outlet port through the gas-guiding channel.

A method and system of gas refilling management for gas storage canister utilizing identification accessing control includes an identification information transmission device, a control device, and a gas refilling equipment, which are applicable for management of refilling of at least one storage canister. The storage canister is provided with an information identification label, which contains at least one record of canister information. By using the identification information transmission device to first read the information contained in the label of a storage canister, the control device may then set a refilling condition based on which the gas refilling equipment carries out a refilling operation to the storage canister, so as to suit for management of refilling various types of gas storage canisters to provide the best performance in a practical application.

Method and system of gas refilling management for gas storage canister utilizing identification accessing control

A fuel cell system includes a fuel cell stack and a humidifier. The humidifier includes an unreacted gas inlet port connected to an end of an unreacted hydrogen discharge pipeline, which is connected at the other end to a hydrogen outlet port of the fuel cell stack, such that the unreacted hydrogen discharged from the fuel cell stack via the hydrogen outlet port is led by the unreacted hydrogen discharge pipeline into the humidifier. The humidifier regulates the humidity and concentration of the unreacted hydrogen led thereinto, and the unreacted hydrogen is then discharged from the humidifier.

A gas storage canister includes a canister body, at least one supporting plate, at least one gas-guiding rod, and at least one compartment structure. The canister body has a bottom end, an outlet opposed to the bottom end, and an inner space. The bottom end and the outlet are arranged along a long axis direction. The supporting plate is accommodated within the inner space along the long axis direction. The supporting plate has at least one communication part. The gas-guiding rod is penetrated through the communication part of the supporting plate. The gas-guiding rod has at least one gas inlet/outlet end for guiding a gas. The compartment structure includes a plurality of compartments. The compartment structure and the supporting plate are accommodated within the inner space of the canister body. Each of the compartments stores a predetermined amount of gas storage material.
