A computing system includes a distance measuring module, for detecting a spatial coordinate of a portion of a hand of a user, wherein the location or orientation of the portion of the hand is used for determining a first input data inputted by a user, a processing unit, generating an output data in based on the first input data; and a head wearable display. The processing unit is configured to compare a current spatial location of the binocular virtual image, which is located at the intersection of the optical path extension of the first collimated light signal and the optical path extension of the second collimated light signal, with the spatial coordinates of the part of the user's hand measured by the distance measuring module, and based on the comparison, to change the binocular virtual image or activate an application program.

Disclosed are systems and methods for expanding eyebox for a viewer, such as for the near eye display applying retinal projecting technologies from a head wearable device such as smart glasses. The system includes at least one image projector and at least one optical duplicator, where the optical duplicator is used to perform a light split to generate multiple instances of an incident light signal to achieve eyebox expansion for the viewer. An alternative system includes at least one image projector and at least one optical reflector, where the optical reflector is moved to perform a time split to redirect multiple light signals at different angles of incidence to achieve eyebox expansion for the viewer.

The present disclosure relates to an optic system for head wearable devices. The optic system comprises a first light emitter for emitting a plurality of first light signals, the first light emitter varies a direction of projection between a first spatial dimension limit and a second spatial dimension limit in a first dimension; a first light redirector; and a second light redirector. A geometry of the first light redirector is configured such that a light signal emitted by the first light emitter in proximity to the first spatial dimension limit has a total optical path length from the first light emitter to the eye of the viewer substantially equal to a total optical path length of another light signal emitted by the first light emitter in proximity to the second spatial dimension limit from the first light emitter to the eye of the viewer.

Disclosed are systems and methods for superimposing a virtual image on a real-time image. A system for superimposing a virtual image on a real-time image comprises a real-time image module and a virtual image module. The real-time image module comprises a magnification assembly to generate a real-time image of an object at a first location and a first depth, with a predetermined magnification. The virtual image module generates a virtual image by respectively projecting a right light signal to a viewer's right eye and a corresponding left light signal to a viewer's left eye. The right light signal and the corresponding left light signal are perceived by the viewer to display the virtual image at a second location and a second depth. The second depth is related to an angle between the right light signal and the corresponding left light signal projected to the viewer's eyes. The second depth may be approximately the same as the first depth.

A laser projector includes a laser source module for generating an input light beam, a deflection component that deflects the input light beam to mutually orthogonal first and second scanning directions to form a scanning light beam, a first prism and a second prism both used for allowing the scanning light beam to pass therethrough for performing two-dimensional scanning on an imaging surface and formation of an image. By adjustment of the angle between the first prism and the second prism, various conditions are satisfied to achieve image distortion correction and image lift.

A head-up display system is described. The head-up display system includes an image projection device, a diffusion unit, and a frame demonstration medium. The image projection device emits the visible light, containing text or image information, for generating a real image on the diffusion unit. The frame demonstration medium receives the visible light reflected from the diffusion unit. By adjusting the received visible light reflected from the diffusion unit, the frame demonstration medium generates a virtual image corresponding to the real image. The distance between the real image corresponding to the diffusion unit and the frame demonstration medium is preferably equal to the distance between the virtual image and the frame demonstration medium. Alternatively, the visible light is projected to the frame demonstration medium and then reflected to the diffusion unit. The frame demonstration medium again reflected visible light from the diffusion unit to generate a virtual image corresponding to the real image.
