A method and system for authentication through deep-links is provided. A communication device can provide a credential to a remote server computer as part of an authentication process. The remote server computer can challenge the communication device by transmitting a deep-link containing a one-time passcode to the communication device. The communication device can activate and parse the deep-link to determine the one-time passcode. The one-time passcode can be transmitted back to the remote server computer by the communication device. The remote server computer can verify that received one-time passcode matches the sent one-time passcode in order to complete the authentication process.

Deep link authentication

Techniques for securely generating and using a 'fingerprint' for authentication. A server computer receives a first data set from a user device (including a first fuzzy hash of first user data on the user device). The server computer generates a first fingerprint value based on the first data set. The server computer detects an event corresponding to a user in association with the user device. The server computer identifies a baseline fingerprint value (generated based on a baseline fuzzy hash of user data on the user device). The server computer compares the first fingerprint value to the baseline fingerprint value to generate a similarity score. The server computer may determine that the similarity score exceeds a threshold value but does not represent an exact match, and, based on the similarity score, authenticate the user and update the baseline fingerprint value based on the first fingerprint value.

Dynamic and private security fingerprinting

A helper SDK embedded in a native application performs local operations on behalf of a web application affiliated with the helper SDK. The helper SDK may perform security functions such as fingerprint or face biometric verifications as well as access device-specific hardware such as a camera or secure memory. The web application may use an 0Auth technique for access and refresh tokens. In a transaction system, when a user is confirmed via the security function, order details are passed to the web application with a refresh token and ciphertext confirmation data is returned to the native application for completion of the transaction.

Helper software developer kit for native device hybrid applications

A method includes determining, at an access point, that a channel used to communicate with a device is experiencing interference. The method also includes, in response to the access point detecting that the channel used to communicate with the device is experiencing interference, switching, at the access point to a second channel. The second channel is selected from available channels associated with a set of candidate frequency bands. The set of candidate frequency bands is selected based on a signal quality of a particular device in communication with the access point. The particular device is a communication device in communication with the access point that has a lowest signal quality of signal qualities of communication devices in communication with the access point.

Selecting a frequency band from a set of candidate frequency bands associated with a wireless access point

An apparatus includes a receiver configured to wirelessly receive a signal from a device. The apparatus also includes a processor configured to initiate a channel change operation associated with a channel of a particular frequency band. Each channel of the particular frequency band supports a threshold power level that is based on a signal quality associated with the signal and that enables wireless communication with the device.

A method includes receiving a beacon signal from a wireless access point at a mobile device. The method also includes determining, based on the beacon signal and a size of a buffer of the mobile device, a speed threshold associated with the wireless access point. The method further includes selectively transmitting data to the wireless access point based at least in part on the speed threshold.

Mobile device network configuration via speed determination

In one or more embodiments, a mobile device can determine its speed and can utilize a wireless network based on its determined speed. In one example, the mobile device can be within a communications range of a wireless access point that implements a wireless local area network and can utilize a mobile telephone network for data communications rather than the wireless local area network when the mobile device is traveling at or above a certain speed. In another example, the mobile device can receive a signal from the wireless access point and, based on the signal and the speed of the mobile device, the mobile device can utilize the wireless access point at or above the certain speed. For instance, the signal can include a beacon indicating that the wireless access point can be utilized for data communications when the mobile device is traveling at or above a certain speed.

A method includes determining, at a wireless access point, a signal quality indicator associated with a user device in communication with the wireless access point. The method also includes determining, based on the signal quality indicator, a particular frequency band of a set of candidate frequency bands to use in a channel change operation, where each candidate frequency band of the set of candidate frequency bands supports a threshold power level that enables communication between the wireless access point and the user device. The method further includes selecting a particular channel from the particular frequency band to use in the channel change operation.

An inflatable lifesaving device is designed to provide a user with an apparatus to escape a high rise building in emergency situations in a sufficiently rapid manner. It is simply composed of a hemisphere including a plurality of independent cell airbags, internal hoses, and check valves, a parachute integrated with the hemisphere, an air supply system, an external hose, a quick release hose coupler, a harness mounted on the body of the user, a connection rope that connects the harness to the inside of the building, a rope quick release to separate the connection rope, a descent rope, a backpack. To operate the inflatable lifesaving device, the user wearing the harness with the backpack exits a window or a balcony with the harness connected to the inside of the building through the connection rope with the release device. The air supply system is then turned on and high pressure air inflates and opens up the hemisphere and the parachute so that they are gradually formed from the back of the user to the front, and eventually the user is surrounded by them. after that, the external hose and the connection rope are released. As a result, the user will move down with the hemisphere and the parachute.

The client device is identified based on a signal quality indicator associated with the client device.
