A composition which comprises or consists of more than 75 to less than 80 wt. % of pentafluoroethane (HFC-125); more than 17 to less than 22.7 wt. % of 1,1,1,2-tetrafluoroethane (HFC-134a); and more than 2.3 to less than 3.0 wt. % of n-butane (R600).

Refrigerant composition

Use of working fluids for energy conversion in a thermal Organic Rankine Cycle (ORC) process for combined generation of electrical and heat energy. The heat source used in the ORC process is in particular thermal water. The working fluids used in the ORC process are partially or perfluorinated hydrocarbons and/or partially or perfluorinated polyethers and/or partially or perfluorinated ketones. In some embodiments, the working fluid used is a combination of 1,1,1,3,3-pentafluorobutane and a fluorinated polyether having a molecular weight of 340 and a boiling point of 57&#xb0; C. at 101.3 kPa, or a combination of 1,1,1,3,3-pentafluorobutane and at least one partially or perfluorinated ketone.

The invention relates to a method for storing liquefied zeotropic gas mixtures. To ensure a composition of the liquid phase which meets specifications, the change of the gas phase is determined by means of a differential pressure transducer by comparing the pressure with a calibration mixture. The mixture composition of the liquid phase is regulated by subsequently metering in the mixture components which have the higher partial pressure.
