A backlight and a display device are provided herein, which is related to the field of display technology and intends to improve visual effect of the image displayed by the display device. The backlight may include a back plate, a light guide plate and a light source. The back plate includes an accommodation groove, and the light guide plate includes a holding groove at a first side surface of the light guide plate. The light source includes at least one light emitting element. The holding groove is configured to hold at least a portion of the at least one light emitting element, and the accommodation groove is configured to accommodate the light guide plate and the light source.

The present invention discloses a method for preparing lithium-rich manganese-based cathode material. The method comprises: dispersing &#x3b1;-MnOmicron particles, a nickel salt and a lithium-containing compound in a solvent to obtain a mixture, then evaporating the mixture to remove the solvent, and calcining the solid product obtained from the evaporation; wherein the lithium-containing compound is a lithium salt and/or lithium hydroxide. The present invention also provides a lithium-rich manganese-based cathode material prepared by the above method. The present invention also provides a lithium-ion battery of which anode material contains the foregoing lithium-rich manganese-based anode material. The lithium-rich manganese-based cathode material provided by the present invention has high rate capability and prolonged cycle stability.
