Sensor assembly for a vehicle and multi-circuit braking system

An electromechanical brake system for a motor vehicle. The brake system includes four wheel brake devices, four primary electric motors, four secondary electric motors, and four control devices. The control devices are designed to acquire and/or evaluate sensor data from sensors assigned to the wheel brake devices and/or to the motor vehicle. Each of the wheel brake devices is assigned one of the primary electric motors and one of the secondary electric motors respectively for operating the respective wheel brake devices. Each of the control devices is respectively assigned to one of the primary electric motors of one of the wheel brake devices and to one of the secondary electric motors of another of the wheel brake devices for actuating the electric motors.

An operating method for a redundant sensor arrangement of a vehicle system including a primary controller, a secondary controller and multiple sensors, wherein the individual sensors, in a normal mode of the vehicle system, are each coupled to the primary controller and, in an emergency mode of the vehicle system, are each coupled to the secondary controller and are supplied with power, wherein the controller that is coupled to the sensors receives and evaluates signals from the individual sensors, includes applying an operating voltage to both controllers and coupling the sensors to the primary controller and checking the coupled sensors with the primary controller. The secondary controller, in the decoupled state, checks its internal voltage supply and at least one internal signal path. Then, the secondary controller is connected to the sensors to checking their power supply. The system initialization is concluded when no errors have occurred.

Operating method for a redundant sensor assembly of a vehicle system and corresponding redundant sensor assembly

The disclosure relates to a sensor assembly for a vehicle, comprising: a speed sensor for each vehicle wheel that detects an rpm-dependent and/or rotational-speed-dependent physical variable, which is used to ascertain speed information; a primary control unit, which analyses the speed information to perform first braking functions; and a secondary control unit, which analyses the speed information to perform second braking functions. A control unit is positioned close to each of the vehicle wheels, and is connected to the speed sensor associated with the corresponding wheel and receives a sensor signal and determines the speed information for the corresponding vehicle wheel, the primary control device and a further control device receiving the speed information for analysis in real time, and the control devices making the speed information available in the form of first sensor data to a central network over a databus for distribution in the vehicle.

Sensor assembly for a vehicle and multi-circuit braking system having redundant control and rotation rate information communication

A system having a control unit, which has a housing in which at least one processing unit of the control unit is situated. The system further includes an electrical ground connection situated outside the housing; a first ground line by which the control unit and the ground connection are electrically connected; a second ground line by which the control unit and the ground connection are electrically connected; and a sensor device, which is developed to monitor an electrical first ground current flowing through the first ground line and an electrical second ground current flowing through the second ground line. The sensor device has an XMR sensor for monitoring the first and the second ground current.
