Prior to initiating discovery of computing resources of an information technology (IT) infrastructure, an input query and a discovery job are received, and one or more trigger configuration items (CIs) are calculated. The input query specifies how the computing resources are discovered, and has a filter parameter. The discovery job is for the input query, has a job parameter, and is associated with a trigger query that is a subset of the input query. The trigger CIs are calculated based on the trigger query, such that the filter parameter of the input query is replaced with the job parameter in the trigger CIs. Discovery of the computing resources is initiated by dispatching each trigger CI. As discovery of the computing resources occurs, CIs representing the computing resources matching the trigger CIs are received, and the CIs are populated within a configuration management database (CMDB).

This invention teaches a method to achieve rapid 3D printing of microneedle patches. The 3D printing method comprises a printing nozzle of multiple micro-holes and cold plate/platform on which the microneedle-supporting sheet (membrane) is placed. The solution or aqueous solution of microneedle-forming materials is printed onto the cold microneedle-supporting sheet with programed rate of injection from the nozzle and velocity of the nozzle lifting. The relationship between the injection rate and the lifting velocity determines the shape of the microneedle tips. The freshly printed microneedles on the cold sheet are dried in two ways, drying at a temperature close to the ice point of water or drying after a freeze-thaw treatment of the microneedles.

A kit for the prognosis of colorectal cancer, which includes reagents related in detecting the expression level of any one or more genes of the following five genes: BST1, as shown in SEQ ID NO:1; MGST1, as shown in SEQ ID NO:2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9 or 10; HP, as shown in SEQ ID NO:11 or 12; RCAN3, as shown in SEQ ID NO:13, 14, 15, 16, 17, 18, 19, 20, 21 or 22; and SRA1, as shown in SEQ ID NO:23 or 24. The present invention relates to method and kit for performing a colorectal cancer assay. Especially a method including extracting total RNA from a peripheral blood sample obtained from a patient suspected of having or having colorectal cancer; contacting the total RNA, or cDNA or cRNA obtained from the total RNA, with one or more reagents specific for at least one target gene and no more than 100 target genes; and measuring the expression level of the at least one target gene and no more than 100 target genes. The at least one target gene and no more than 100 target genes includes one or more members selected from the group consisting of the KLRB1, KLRC2, KLRC3, KLRD1, KLRK1, CD247, RRAS2, SH2D1B, LCK, MRPS6, SPRY4, CYBB, DUSP2, PDE4D, SH2D2A, GZMB, INSR, ITGAM, VCAN, CD163, P2RY10, CD226, MRPL10, ITPRIPL2, CD2, and NUDT16 genes.

Method and kit for performing a colorectal cancer assay

The present invention provides a method for determining in vitro, in a peripheral blood sample, the probability for an individual to suffer from a colorectal cancer, using the comparison of the amount of expression products of nucleic acids of genes of the individual to be tested with the amount of expression products of nucleic acids of the same genes obtained from a CRC group of patients constituting the positive control and with the amount of expression products of nucleic acids of the same genes obtained from a CNC group of individuals constituting the negative control; and a kit comprising specific binding partners for said expression products.

Method and kit for determining in vitro the probability for an individual to suffer from colorectal cancer

A method and kit for the prognosis of colorectal cancer where the method includes the steps of: a) obtaining a peripheral blood sample and extracting total RNA from the sample, b) contacting the total RNA with at least one reagent specific for at least one NK cell gene and no more than 25 specific reagents for 25 NK cell genes, c) determining the expression level of at least one and at most 25 NK cell genes to obtain an expression profile for the patient, d) analyzing the expression profile with expression profiles previously clinically classified as a good prognosis and as a poor prognosis, wherein if the expression profile is clustered with the poor prognosis profiles, then the patient is determined to have a poor prognosis, and if the expression profile is clustered with the good prognosis profiles, then the patient is determined to have a good prognosis.

A method of preparing polysaccharide glassy microparticles which are less than 10 &#x3bc;um in diameter and contain structurally delicate agents, such as proteins, peptides, gene materials, vaccines, antibodies, viruses and liposomes using low-temperature aqueous-aqueous emulsification (free of polyelectrolytes) and freezing-induced phase separation. When delicate agents are added to a polysaccharide-PEG two phase system followed by homogenization (or other shear adding process), the agents partition into the polysaccharide dispersed phase preferentially. These processes help to avoid aggregation of proteins caused by interaction with charged polyelectrolytes used for stabilizing the polysaccharide dispersed phase in our previously reported aqueous-aqueous emulsion. When this system is frozen and lyophilized, glassy particles less than 10 &#x3bc;m in diameter containing delicate agents can be formed. These fine polysaccharide particles protect proteins within their hydrophilic glassy matrix, and can therefore be easily suspended in hydrophobic polymer solutions and formulated to various forms of sustained release devices such microsphere, sheets, fibers, coating layers, and scaffolds. The particles can also be dispersed in hydrophilic gels to improve releasing kinetics and to deliver vaccines and antibodies for immune therapy.
