A heat shield comprises a first thermal insulation section and a second thermal insulation section, wherein the second thermal insulation section is axially connected to the first thermal insulation section, and the thermal insulation performance of the second thermal insulation section is lower than that of the first thermal insulation section. The heat shield is advantageous in that it cannot only achieve a good integral thermal insulation effect, but also protect thermal-fatigue weak zones of an exhaust system shell, so as to prolong the operating life of the exhaust system and reduce the costs of maintenance and repair for an automobile, etc.

An apparatus and method for testing gas permeability in concrete are provided. The apparatus is used for testing gas permeability of a concrete test sample, and includes a gas supply apparatus, an instrument body and a gas flow meter. The instrument body includes a frame body. A gas inlet ring, a gas outlet ring and a connection plate are successively arranged on the frame body from inside to outside. An input end of the gas inlet ring is connected with the gas supply apparatus, and an output end is connected with an input end of the gas outlet ring through the concrete test sample. An output end of the gas outlet ring is connected with the gas flow meter. The connection plate is connected with the concrete test sample.

Testing apparatus for gas permeability in concrete and testing method therefor

A method includes determining a scan rate associated with each of a plurality of input/output (I/O) modules. The method also includes transmitting a read request message to at least one expansion controller that controls the plurality of I/O modules, the read request message having an align index field. The method further includes receiving a reply message from the at least one expansion controller for each of the I/O modules for which a value of the align index field of the read request message is an even multiple of the associated scan rate. The method also includes incrementing the value of the align index field. In addition, the method includes repeating the transmitting, receiving, and incrementing until the value of the align index field is greater than a threshold, wherein the threshold is a least common multiple of the scan rates of the plurality of I/O modules.
