A synchronization system for a container-processing plant, including a container-forming machine configured to form a container, the container-forming machine having a first rotating wheel for rotating the container about a first rotation axis; a container-filling machine operatively coupled to the container-forming machine and configured to fill the container, the container-filling machine having a second rotating wheel for rotating the container about a second rotation axis; and at least one electric motor configured to cause the first rotating wheel and the second rotating wheel to rotate, the synchronization system comprising: a position sensor provided in the container-forming machine and configured to detect a rotating position of the first rotating wheel and to generate a position detection signal; at least one control unit configured to: receive information associated with the position detection signal; synchronize the rotation of the second rotating wheel to the rotation of the first rotating wheel based on the information associated with the position detection signal; and synchronize the rotation of the container-forming machine and container-filling machine from a zero speed up to a full operating speed of the container forming machine at which processing operations are designed to be performed.

System and method for synchronization of a container forming machine and a container processing machine in a container processing plant

A plant for filling and capping a container is disclosed. The plant comprises a transfer unit configured to feed the container along a feeding path. The transfer unit is connected to a filling drum via an outlet station, and connected to a capping drum via an inlet station. The transfer unit also has an outlet segment at the outlet station, which is straight and tangent to the filling drum, and an inlet segment at the inlet station, which is straight and tangent to the capping drum.

A diagnostic method for a container processing machine including a rotating conveyor, and processing units carried by the rotating conveyor and designed to engage at least one container to carry out processing operations is disclosed. The method includes operatively coupling a first set of monitoring sensors to the processing units on-board the processing machine to monitor relevant operating parameters. The method also includes controlling the processing units to execute test operations in lieu of processing operations. The method further includes acquiring measurement data from the first set of monitoring sensors during the test operations. The method further includes processing the acquired measurement data to provide maintenance information on the reliability of at least one of the processing units or the processing machine.

Diagnostic kit and method for container processing machine

A transfer device for conveying a plurality of packaging units along a transfer path comprising: a first carrier having at least one first operative branch parallel to the transfer path; at least one first conveying element advanced along the first carrier; a second carrier adjacent to the first carrier and having at least one second operative branch parallel to the transfer path and to the first operative branch; and at least one second conveying element controlled independently from the first conveying element and advanced along the second carrier; wherein the first conveying element and the second conveying element are configured to retain therebetween a packaging unit of the plurality of packaging units and to advance the packaging unit along the transfer path.
