A network device (e.g., a user equipment (UE), a new radio NB (gNB), or other network component) can process or generate a dynamic Physical Uplink Shared Channel (PUSCH) repetition indication that provides parameters about PUSCH repetition(s) for the uplink within one, two or other number of slots of a New Radio (NR) communication as an Ultra-Reliable Low-Latency Communication. The network device can also process or generate one or more multiple Configuration-Grant (CG) PUSCH configurations. The presence of a repetition level bit-field in a Downlink Control Information (DCI) carrying UL grant or activating UL configured grant PUSCH can be controlled by semi-static UE-specific RRC signaling enabling or disabling the dynamic signaling of PUSCH repetitions.

Physical uplink shared channel enhancements for new radio ultra-reliable low-latency communication

Systems, devices, and techniques for antenna port configuration in wireless communication systems are described. A described technique performed by a user equipment (UE) includes receiving configuration information that determines a bit-width value for an antenna port indication field of a downlink control information (DCI) format; receiving a DCI message that is in accordance with the DCI format; and determining an antenna port configuration for one or more demodulation reference signals based on the DCI message, the configuration information, and the bit-width value.

A method for physical downlink control channel (PD-CCH) monitoring by user equipment (UE includes receiving a specification indicative of a monitoring pattern for a search space set including a plurality of slots. The monitoring pattern includes one or more monitoring spans within the search space set. Each of the one or more monitoring spans is associated with a set of parameters defining that particular monitoring span. System and method of downlink control channel signaling for uplink coexistence of multiple service types

Methods and systems are provided for communicating in a wireless network based on a prioritization status. User equipment can receive a first signal that includes an indicator. The UE can determine a prioritization status for a second signal based on the prioritization indicator. The UE can communicate, with one or more radio access networks (RANs) of a network, the second signal, where the timeline of the second signal can be out of order respective of other signals communicated by the UE and the wireless network. The second signal can include data transmitted by an ultra-reliable low latency communication (URLLC) service. The UE can communicate the second signal out of order with respect to one or more additional signals. The UE, based on the indicator, can communicate hybrid automated repeat request (HARQ) feedback before a HARQ feedback timeline of a non-urgent transmission.

Systems and methods for intra-UE multiplexing in new radio (NR)

Systems, devices, and techniques for controlling uplink transmissions including cancelling previously scheduled transmissions are described. A described technique includes receiving, by a user equipment (UE), a configuration information that provides a search space set configuration associated with a control resource set (CORESET) to monitor for an uplink cancellation indication; receiving, by the UE, scheduling information that schedules one or more uplink transmissions; monitoring, by the UE via a physical downlink control channel (PDCCH), for the uplink cancellation indication based on the configuration information; receiving, by the UE via the PDCCH, a downlink control information (DCI) message that comprises the uplink cancellation indication; and cancelling, by the UE, at least part of the one or more uplink transmissions in response to the uplink cancellation indication.

Systems for providing prioritization of UL transmissions in a UE are described. The prioritization information is used to resolve resource conflicts among UL transmissions that include conflicts between high priority UL transmissions, between an aperiodic-channel state information transmission and a scheduling request, and between a low priority UL transmission and a high priority UL transmission when timeline conditions for multiplexing in a single UL transmission are not met. The prioritization is based on timing and priority of the UL transmissions to determine which of the UL transmissions to transmit and which to cancel. Additional prioritization is based on reception by the UE of a cancelation index or in an additional overlapping high priority UL grant received in a DCI of a PDCCH that overlaps with at least one other PDCCH associated with the UL transmissions.

UL transmission multiplexing and prioritization

A user equipment (UE) can include processing circuitry coupled to memory. To configure the UE for New Radio (NR) communications above a 52.6 GHz carrier frequency, the processing circuitry is to decode radio resource control (RRC) signaling to obtain a cyclic shift value in time domain. The cyclic shift value is associated with a demodulation reference signal (DM-RS) antenna port (AP) of a plurality of available DM-RS APs. A single carrier based waveform DM-RS sequence corresponding to the DM-RS AP is generated using a base sequence and the cyclic shift value. The single carrier based waveform DM-RS sequence is encoded with uplink data for transmission to a base station using a physical uplink shared channel (PUSCH) using a carrier above the 52.6 GHz carrier frequency.

Reference signal and control information processing in 5G-NR wireless systems

Some embodiments of this disclosure include apparatuses and methods for multiplexing uplink (UL) and/or downlink (DL) data transmission packets in user equipment (UE). In some embodiments, the UE may receive a resource configuration from a network node including one or more parameters for establishing a communication channel. The UE may receive a command from the network node indicating a UL grant for packet transmission from the UE. While preparing to transmit a first packet corresponding to the UL grant, the UE may receive a second packet having a higher priority designation, wherein the second packet includes an overlapping symbol with the first packet. The UE may transmit the second packet in view of this higher priority.

User equipment (UE) includes processing circuitry, where to configure the UE for New Radio (NR) communications in an unlicensed spectrum, the processing circuitry is to decode a first configuration message received from a base station, the first configuration message including a channel quality indicator (CQI) table indication identifying a CQI table. A second configuration message is decoded, the second configuration message received separately from the first configuration message and including a modulation and coding scheme (MCS) table indication identifying an MCS table. DCI received via a PDCCH is decoded, the DCI providing a DL grant and an MCS index in the MCS table. DL information received via a PDSCH is decoded using modulation order and target code rate corresponding to the MCS index in the MCS table.

Configuration and design of CQI and MCS tables for 5G communications

User equipment (UE) includes processing circuitry coupled to memory. To configure the UE for multi-transmission reception point (TRP) reception, the processing circuitry is to decode radio resource control (RRC) signaling. The RRC signaling includes configuration information configuring a plurality of transmission configuration indication (TCI) states. A media access control (MAC) control element (CE) is decoded, where the MAC CE indicates multiple active TCI states of the configured plurality of TCI states. Multiple received beams are determined using the multiple active TCI states. Downlink information is decoded, where the downlink information originates from multiple TRPs and is received via the determined multiple receive beams associated with the multiple active TCI states.

TCI and QCL configuration in 5G networks

A method for enhanced physical downlink control channel monitoring (PDCCH) includes determining a monitoring span for monitoring a PDCCH within a slot, the monitoring span having a start symbol and a duration that spans one or more symbols within the slot. At least one of a maximum number of blind decoding (BD) attempts or a maximum number of control channel elements (CCEs) for channel estimation is determined based on the monitoring span. The PDCCH is monitored within the monitoring span up to the at least one of the maximum number of BD attempts or the maximum number of CCEs.
