According to various embodiments, there is provided a user input device including: a chassis including a socket configured to releasably receive a panel; a memory storing a plurality of button maps, wherein each button map of the plurality of button maps defines functions of at least one button of a respective panel of a plurality of panels, each of which being receivable in the socket; and a processor configured to read an identity code of the received panel, and further configured to identify a matching button map from the plurality of button maps based on the identity code, wherein the matching button map defines the functions of the at least one button of the received panel.

User input devices, panels for use with a user input device and computer peripheral devices

An illumination panel device includes a housing, a first circuit board, a second circuit board, and a light guide. The housing includes a frame coupled to a rear cover. The frame defines an opening. The first circuit board includes a plurality of white light emitters. The first circuit board is coupled to the frame such that the plurality of white light emitters are arranged around the opening. The second circuit board includes a plurality of multi-color light emitters. The second circuit board is coupled to the frame such that the plurality of multi-color light emitters are arranged around the opening. The light guide has opposite front and back surfaces. The light guide is arranged in the opening with the back surface facing the rear cover. The light guide is optically coupled to at least the plurality of white light emitters through peripheral edges of the light guide.

Illumination panel device

A lamp including a light emitting module having a base substrate with a mounting surface, a plurality of white-light emitting elements disposed on the mounting surface in a circular arrangement with a central axis extending from a center thereof, an elongated support structure extending longitudinally along the central axis from the mounting surface, and at least one row of red-green-blue-light emitting elements distributed along the elongated support structure lengthwise. An input device may include a housing, a scroll wheel having an arresting surface, and a lever pivotable about a pivot axis between first and second lever arms of the lever for moving a first free end portion of the first lever arm to engage or disengage the arresting surface. The input device may further include a motion converter in engagement with a second free end portion of a second lever arm. The motion converter configured to convert a rotational movement of a rotary member of the motion converter into an output motion to move the second free end portion of the second lever arm so as to pivot the lever about the pivot axis for engaging or disengaging the first free end portion of the first lever arm and the arresting surface of the scroll wheel.

An input device including a switch connector having a plurality of electrical terminals fixedly mounted to a circuit board. The input device including a switch assembly magnetically coupled to the switch connector in a removable manner. The switch assembly including a switch adapter having a plurality of contact elements in engagement with the plurality of electrical terminals of the switch connector, and a switch fitted to the switch adapter with a plurality of leads of the switch electrically connected to the plurality of contact elements of the switch adapter. The switch adapter being between the switch connector and the switch. The input device including a magnetic catch arrangement having a first catch unit at the circuit board and a second catch unit at the switch adapter which coact with each other to magnetically couple the switch assembly to the switch connector. Input device and switch assembly thereof

An input device including a housing, a ring-shaped scroll wheel, and an integrated haptic unit inserted through the scroll wheel. The integrated haptic unit includes a bridging structure and a variable motion-resistance component coupled thereto. The variable motion-resistance component having a cylindrical body rotatable relative to the bridging structure. The scroll wheel being fixedly attached to the cylindrical body in a coaxial manner. The variable motion-resistance component being configured to vary a motion-resistance profile against a relative rotation motion between the cylindrical body and the bridging structure for defining a haptic behavior of the scroll wheel. The integrated haptic unit includes an inbuilt encoder to convert relative motion between the cylindrical body and the bridging structure as an output signal. A mount for a peripheral device including a first plate having an opening; a second plate coupled to the first plate via a first hinged joint so as to be pivotable between a closed configuration and an open configuration; and a levelling plate disposed in the opening and coupled to the first plate via a second hinged joint so as to be pivotable between a flushed configuration and an angled-off configuration. The first hinged joint and the second hinged joint being parallel and at opposite portions of the first plate. A free end of the second plate in the closed configuration and a free end of the levelling plate in the flushed configuration are directed in opposite directions along the first plate. Mount for a peripheral device

An input device may include a housing, a scroll wheel having an arresting surface, and a lever pivotable about a pivot axis between first and second lever arms of the lever for moving a first free end portion of the first lever arm to engage or disengage the arresting surface. The input device may further include a rotary to linear motion converter having a rotary input axis and a linear output axis. The rotary to linear motion converter may be configured to apply a linear output motion along the linear output axis, converted from a rotary input motion about the rotary input axis, to move a second free end portion of the second lever arm so as to pivot the lever about the pivot axis for engaging or disengaging the first free end portion and the arresting surface to interchange the scroll wheel between a free-wheeling and a resistive-wheeling mode.

A computer mouse is provided to make the mouse button easily reachable without being susceptible to misclick. The computer mouse may include an electronic circuit configured to implement operations of the computer mouse. The computer mouse may include a housing enclosing the electronic circuit. The housing may include an opening on one side of the housing and a switch on the side of the housing. The computer mouse may include a magnetically active lever attached to the housing through the opening on the side of the housing. The magnetically active lever may be configured to actuate the switch on the side of the housing to interact with the electronic circuit to provide input to a computing device. The magnetically active lever may be removable from the housing and replaced with a magnetically active lever of a different size or shape.
