In at least one embodiment, there is provided a method for automated assembly of building structures, the method comprises analyzing assembly data associated with a building structure; based on the analyzing, determining an assembly sequence for assembling building parts to construct the building structure, wherein the assembly sequence comprises a plurality of assembly tasks; generating robot-specific control instructions, for each of one or more assembly robots in a robotic assembly cell, to execute the assembly sequence; and transmitting the robot-specific control instructions to the one or more assembly robots in the robotic assembly cell.

Embodiments herein generally relate to methods, systems and devices for automated assembly of building structures. In at least one embodiment, there is provided a robotic assembly cell for assembling building structures. The robotic assembly cell comprises a perception sensor system; one or more assembly robots; and at least one processor operable to: receive instructions corresponding to an assembly sequence for assembling a building structure; determine a plurality of building parts required for assembling the building structure based on the assembly sequence; identify each building part within a facility, based on sensor data from the perception sensor system; configure the assembly robot to retrieve the target pieces; and configure the assembly robot to assemble the target pieces according to the assembly sequence.

Various embodiments are described herein for systems and methods of traffic management in a road network including pathways and at least one intersection. In at least one embodiment, the method comprises receiving data signals from corresponding one or more connected vehicles and generating an intersection model for each approach of each intersection at a first time, where the intersection model comprises estimated arrival times for incoming vehicles at each approach. The method further comprises generating at the first time, for each intersection, candidate traffic timing data signals based at least on the intersection model corresponding to all approaches at the intersection, and generating, at the first time, for each intersection, an optimized traffic timing data signal, which is configured to control the operation of one or more traffic signals at the intersection, and is generated based on the candidate traffic timing data signals and a predetermined optimization variable.

Various embodiments are described herein for methods, devices and systems that can be used to determine an occupancy count for a vehicle. In at least one embodiment, the method includes receiving a plurality of data signals from a corresponding one or more occupancy data sources, storing a plurality of occupancy data source records corresponding to each received data signal analyzing the plurality of occupancy data signals to identify a state of each occupancy data source for a duration of time marked by a starting time and a stopping time of the vehicle, processing the plurality of occupancy data signals based on the identified state of the corresponding occupancy data source; generating an estimated occupancy count; providing a signal corresponding to the estimate occupancy count to a display system for verification by at least one occupant of the vehicle and receiving a verification input from the at least one occupant.
