This disclosure provides a method of managing users in a wireless telecommunications network having a first access point and a second access point, wherein the first access point communicates with a first set of users using Non-Orthogonal Multiple Access (NOMA) and the second access point communicates with a second set of users using NOMA, the method including obtaining data indicating Inter-User-Interference (IUI) for users of the first access point; obtaining data indicating IUI for users of the second access point; and based on the IUI for users of the first access point and the IUI for users of the second access point, identifying one or more users to transfer between the first and second access point; and causing a transfer of the one or more users identified for transfer.

This disclosure provides a method in a cellular telecommunications network, and a network node for performing the method, the cellular telecommunications network including a content store, and a User Equipment (UE) wherein the UE is identifiable in the cellular telecommunications network by an identifier having a form defined by a cellular telecommunications protocol, the method including receiving a content transaction request from an external node over a wireless connection, the content transaction request including a content store identifier for identifying the content store and further including a content identifier for identifying a content item, wherein the content store identifier has the form defined by the cellular telecommunications protocol for identifying the UE; and processing the content transaction request to perform a transaction with the identified content item in the identified content store.

This disclosure provides a method of operating a network node in a wireless telecommunications network, wherein the wireless telecommunications network includes a first access point having a transmitter configured to transmit in a first coverage area, including receiving, from a sensor, data indicating a location of an object within the first coverage area of the first access point's transmitter; determining, from a set of access rights including excluded, differentiated restrictions and no restrictions, that the object has the differentiated restrictions access right; responsive to the determination that the object has the differentiated restrictions access right, classifying, from a set of classes including a first class and a second class, the object in the first class, wherein the first class is associated with a first restriction configuration having a first electro and/or magnetic field exposure threshold and the second class is associated with a second restriction configuration having a second electro and/or magnetic field exposure threshold; responsive to the determination that the object is classified in the first class, determining that the object shall use the first electro and/or magnetic field exposure threshold; determining that a value of electro and/or magnetic field exposure for the object exceeds the first electro and/or magnetic field exposure threshold; and causing an adjustment of the first access point so as to reduce the value of electro and/or magnetic field exposure for the object.

This disclosure provides a network node for a wireless telecommunications network, and a method of operating the network node, the wireless telecommunications network including a first access point configured to transmit in a first coverage area, a second access point configured to transmit in a second coverage area, and a first User Equipment (UE) connected to the first access point, the method including causing a reconfiguration of at least one of the first access point or the second access point to implement at least one of first transmission parameters or second transmission parameters.

Operating a network node to control a first Unmanned Aerial Vehicle (UAV) in a wireless telecommunications network can include determining a collision risk for the first UAV; determining a reporting rate for the first UAV based on the collision risk; and sending a reporting rate update message to the first UAV so as to cause the first UAV to report its position at the determined reporting rate. A network node for a wireless telecommunications network, and a method of operating a network node, are disclosed. The wireless telecommunications network includes a first access point having a first transmitter configured to transmit in a first coverage area, and the method can include receiving, from a sensor, data indicative of an object within the first coverage area of the first access point's first transmitter; determining, from the data, that the object is an illegitimate user; and, in response, causing a modification of the first access point so that the object cannot successfully receive a transmission from the first transmitter.

A method of determining performance of a Radio Access Network (RAN) of a telecommunications network is disclosed in which the RAN covers an area that is divided into a plurality of unit cells. The method includes receiving a measured performance value of the RAN within at least one unit cell of the plurality of unit cells; receiving a simulated performance value of the RAN within each of the plurality of unit cells; identifying a unit cell that is associated with both a measured performance value and a simulated performance value; calculating, for the identified unit cell, a difference function between the simulated performance value and the measured performance value; and applying the difference function to the simulated performance value of at least one adjacent unit cell to the identified unit cell to determine a modified simulated performance value for the at least one adjacent unit cell.
