One embodiment of the invention provides an air treatment device. The air treatment device comprises: an air purifying unit, configured to purify air; an air sensor, configured to measure a first air quantity and provide a measurement output, wherein the first air quantity comprises the purified air purified by the air purifying unit; and a processor, configured to generate a first value based on the measurement output of the air sensor so as to calibrate the air sensor. With the air treatment device of one embodiment of the invention, clean air, i.e. zero air, is generated locally by the air treatment device so as to calibrate the air sensor, without the need for externally generating the zero air, which brings convenience for the user or other operators performing calibration of the air sensor of the air treatment device. Another embodiment of the invention also provides a method of calibrating an air sensor of an air treatment device. The method comprises the steps of: purifying air by using the air treatment device; and measuring a first air quantity by using the air sensor to get a first value so as to calibrate the air sensor, wherein the first air quantity comprises the purified air.

Method of calibrating an air sensor

An embodiment of the invention provides an air treatment device. The air treatment device comprises an air purifying unit configured to purify air; a scent dispenser configured to dispense scent; an air detector, configured to detect the purified air and provide an output signal; and a processor configured to receive the output signal from the air detector and control the operation speed of the air purifying unit and the dispensing flow of scent dispensed by the scent dispenser, based on the output signal, wherein the dispensing flow of scent dispensed by the scent dispenser is decreased with the increase of the operating speed of the air purifying unit. Another embodiment of the invention provides a method of controlling a scent dispenser and an air purifying unit of an air treatment device, wherein the air treatment device further includes an air detector and a processor. The method comprises the steps of purifying air by using the air purifying unit; detecting the purified air by using the air detector; controlling, by using the processor, the operating speed of the air purifying unit and the dispensing flow of scent dispensed by the scent dispenser, based on the detection result, wherein the dispensing flow of scent dispensed by the scent dispenser is decreased with the increase of the operating speed of the air purifying unit.

Air treatment device

The present invention relates to a method of changing between a plurality N of distinct services, e.g. television channels, receivable on a receiving unit, such as a mobile phone/cellular phone, a personal digital assistant (PDA), a handheld television unit, or similar devices. The receiving unit is adapted to receive the plurality of services in a time slicing mode with services being arranged in a certain time slice sequence. The receiving unit is capable of receiving a first service (S). When 'zapping' from the first service to a second service, the second service (S) being chosen is the currently next service in time within the time slice sequence so as to minimize the time (t) between service changes. Thereby, a fast method of changing between services is provided in a simplified manner, the speed of change reaching the theoretical maximum when using time slicing.
