A polysiloxane-polyester block copolymer is provided, which comprises: (i) a siloxane resin block comprising: a siloxane unit represented by the formula: RSiO, wherein Ris a monovalent hydrocarbon group, and comprising optionally a siloxane unit represented by the formula: SiO; (ii) a siloxane linear block represented by the formula: (RSiO), wherein each Ris independently a monovalent hydrocarbon group, and 'n' is a positive number of at least 5; and (iii) a polyester block. The polysiloxane-polyester block copolymer can be used for a protective coating on a substrate which is made of aluminum, stainless steel, iron, plastics or glass to provide durable heat-resistance, hot hardness, release and anti-graffiti properties.

Polysiloxane-polyester block copolymer, method for producing the same, and use thereof

A composition comprises (A) a silicone elastomer. The (A) silicone elastomer comprises the reaction product of: (a) an organohydrogensiloxane having an average of at least two silicon-bonded hydrogen atoms per molecule; (b) a crosslinking agent having an average of at least two ethylenically unsaturated groups per molecule; and (c) a hydrosilylation catalyst. The reaction product is formed in the in the presence of (d) a silicone polyether polymer; and (e) particles. The composition further comprises (B) a carrier fluid. The (e) particles are dispersed in the (A) silicone elastomer in the composition. A method of preparing the composition is also disclosed.

Composition and method of preparation

A cosmetic composition comprises (A) a silicone elastomer. The (A) silicone elastomer comprises the reaction product of: (a) a branched organosiloxane; (b) a crosslinking agent; and (c) a hydrosilylation catalyst. The cosmetic composition further comprises (B) a carrier fluid. A method of preparing the cosmetic composition is also disclosed.
