This disclosure provides systems, methods and apparatus, including computer programs encoded on computer storage media, for a user equipment (UE) and a base station (BS) to determine channel state information (CSI) processing unit (CPU) occupancy of the UE. The UE and the BS may determine that at least one CPU from a CPU pool is occupied by an uplink CSI request from a CSI reference signal (CSI-RS) to at least a CSI request occasion. The UE and the BS may determine a number of occupied CPUs, for example, based on an accumulated or aggregated number of occupied CPUs for multiple CSI operations. The UE may perform a number of CSI operations based on the determined number of occupied CPUs. The BS may configure the UE to perform the number of CSI operations, for example, by transmitting one or more of a configuration, activation, or scheduling message.

Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described herein for power boosting uplink share channel repetitions. A user equipment (UE) may receive from abase station a control message that schedules a set of transmission occasions for one or more uplink messages for the UE. The UE may determine from the control message the set of transmission occasions to apply power boosting. The UE may determine the transmit power for each transmission occasion based at least in part on the power boost configuration. The UE may transmit one or more uplink messages via the set of transmission occasions with the determined transmit power.

Various aspects of the present disclosure generally relate to wireless communication. In some aspects, a user equipment (UE) may receive at least one downlink control information message that schedules multiple sets of repetitions of a physical uplink shared channel transmission with different sets of transmission parameters. The scheduled repetitions of the multiple sets of repetitions may be transmitted consecutively. The UE may transmit one or more of the scheduled repetitions of the multiple sets of repetitions using one or more time gaps between the scheduled repetitions of the multiple sets of repetitions. In some aspects, a user equipment (UE) may receive, from a base station, downlink control information (DCI) in format 1_2 that includes an indicator with a first quantity of codepoints that is smaller than a second quantity of activated transmission configuration indicator (TCI) states. Accordingly, the UE may apply a TCI state, from the first quantity of activated TCI states out of the second quantity of activated TCI states, according to the indicator. A UE may receive, from a base station, information indicating a set of beams associated with a plurality of CCs. The UE may be configured to activate the set of beams on the plurality of CCs either for a single TRP or for multiple TRPs, with the set of beams being activated for the single TRP when less than two beam IDs respectively associated with the set of beams are mapped to a codepoint and less than two pool indexes are configured for a CORESET associated with at least one CC of the plurality of CCs. The set of beams may be activated for the multiple TRPs when at least one of: the codepoint is mapped to two or more beam IDs, or the CORESET either is configured with two or more pool indexes or is not configured with a pool index.
