The method includes: displaying a portal in a first virtual scene of a virtual reality environment with a plurality of elements, wherein the plurality of elements comprise an element corresponding to a second virtual scene; and in response to receiving a first command corresponding to the element, switching the virtual reality environment from the first virtual scene to the second virtual scene.
