A power control device comprises the following elements. An input assembly has a switch and is electrically connected to a first actuator, and generates a trigger signal according to a state of the switch or a control signal inputted from the first actuator. A calculating assembly is electrically connected to the input assembly and outputs a first signal from a control output terminal and a second signal from a feedback output terminal when the calculating assembly receives the trigger signal. An output assembly is electrically connected to the control output terminal of the calculating assembly for receiving the first signal and changes a power-on/off state of a controlled device when a voltage level of the first signal changes. A feedback assembly is electrically connected to the feedback output terminal of the calculating assembly and outputs a feedback signal to the first actuator according to the second signal.

Power control device and a control method

The invention provides server including a casing. The casing has back panel area. The back panel area is located at air outlet of the server. Package substrate, up HDD back panel and down HDD back panel are horizontally disposed on the back panel area. Motherboard of the server is communicatively connected to the package substrate via first connector. The package substrate is communicatively connected to the up HDD back panel via second connector. The up HDD back panel is communicatively connected to the down HDD back panel via third connector. The server of the invention has high dense storage devices, very high space utilization, and innovative heat dissipation channels design. The server has high configuration flexibility and expansibility, can be operated in a simple manner, and can support apparatus that are power-consuming and operating in standby mode.

Server

A power consumption detector includes a first resistor, an amplification unit, a voltage divider and a processing unit. A first end of the first resistor, coupled to the object, receives a current from the object during working. An amplification unit has a first input end coupled to a second end of the first resistor and a second input end receiving the working voltage. The amplification has an output end generating an amplification signal. A voltage divider, coupled to the output end of the amplification unit, is used for receiving the amplification signal and generating a voltage division signal. A processing unit, coupled to the voltage divider, is used for receiving the voltage division signal, calculating the current flowing through the first resistor and power consumption of the object upon the current and the working voltage. The power consumption detector is applied to a motherboard or a fan board.

A rack server system is provided. When a power source supplied to the rack server system is normal, a part of the power source is supplied to a management module in the rack server system and the other part of the power source charges the energy storage component. When the power source supplied to the rack server system is abnormal, the power source will be blocked and not be supplied to the management module, thereby preventing the rack server system from operating abnormally. In stead of the power source, the electricity stored in the energy storage component is supplied to the management module. Herein, the management module also records this situation as the state information about the rack server system whereby the rack server system can be managed according to the state information.

A controlling circuit for outputting a square wave circuit to control a fan rotating speed is disclosed, where an output unit continuously outputs the square wave signal and the output unit is electrically connected to a time-delaying adjustment circuit, so that a duty-ratio formed not equal to 50% is outputted to control the fan rotating speed, whereby a particular duty-ratio is provided to control the fan rotating speed after a control chip for fan rotating speed is pulled out.
