A multi-family metering device including a plurality of modular meter compartments where the modular meter compartments are interconnected and laid out in a horizontal section. The multi-family metering device comprises a pull section having a first enclosure and a plurality of modular meter compartments for multiple service disconnects with an individual modular meter compartment provided for each service disconnect such that each modular meter compartment of the plurality of modular meter compartments having a second enclosure different from the first enclosure. One or more modular meter compartments of the plurality of modular meter compartments are configured to be attached to both or either side of the pull section. The second enclosures are joined together instead of providing one enclosure with a common wiring compartment that is divided into different sections.

A main feed thru unit configured as a service equipment or a main service disconnect is provided for distributing power in modular metering mains. The main feed thru unit comprises an enclosure having a back side, a first side, a second side, a top side and a bottom side and a bus assembly. The bus assembly includes a feed thru bus assembly including a plurality of feed thru bus bars configured to receive line power at feed line terminals and pass thru power to feed thru terminals, a cross bus assembly including a plurality of cross bus bars extending between the first side and the second side and a main breaker coupled between the feed line terminals and the plurality of cross bus bars to feed power thru and output power via the plurality of cross bus bars. The enclosure is configured to allow electrical connection to the plurality of cross bus bars through an opening in at least one of the first side and the second side.

The expandable bused elbow comprises an enclosure configured to fit in a gap between modular equipment. The enclosure has a box assembly with a sliding mechanism that enables expansion of the box assembly. The expandable bused elbow further comprises a first bussed interior assembly enclosed within the enclosure having a first bottom end and a second bussed interior assembly enclosed within the enclosure having a second bottom end. The first bussed interior assembly has a first bussing expansion mechanism that enables expansion of the first bussed interior assembly. The second bussed interior assembly has a second bussing expansion mechanism that enables expansion of the second bussed interior assembly. The expandable bused elbow further comprises a center corner assembly disposed in a middle space between the first bussed interior assembly and the second bussed interior assembly.

The present invention relates generally to a mounting bracket for a modular panel. More particularly, the invention encompasses a quick roll mounting bracket for modular panels. The quick roll mounting bracket for a modular panel provides an easier/improved means for an installer to install a modular panel and to electrically and mechanically couple the modular panels together. The inventive roller bracket helps guide the modular panel during the coupling process by providing at least one wheel or a rolling interface to an otherwise metallic or metal-to-metal interface. The wheel or a rolling interface could be secured to the modular panel via at least one mounting bracket or via at least one spacer or at least one emboss.

An electric meter socket for connecting electrical conductors thereto includes a meter socket block configured to receive at least one lug assembly. The lug assembly is configured to receive an electrical conductor and may include a lug and sliding nut. The lug includes a slide path that allows the sliding nut to be removed from the lug so an electrical conductor can be placed in the lug for connection to the meter socket. To prevent the sliding nut from sliding out of the lug until an electrical conductor is ready to be connected, the meter socket block includes at least one breakable tab that blocks the slide path, thus retaining the sliding nut within the lug. The breakable tab may be removed when an electrical conductor is ready to be connected.
