A composite material for photocatalytic hydrogen production and a photocatalytic hydrogen production catalyst are provided. The composite material includes a plurality of inorganic semiconductor particles and a linear conjugated polymer material. The conductive band of a material of the inorganic semiconductor particles is higher than the reduction potential of hydrogen, and the linear conjugated polymer material is compounded on a surface of each of the inorganic semiconductor particles, wherein the difference in the energy level of the lowest unoccupied molecular orbital (LUMO) of the linear conjugated polymer material and the conductive band of the material of the inorganic semiconductor particles is within 2 eV.

Composite material for photocatalytic hydrogen production and photocatalytic hydrogen production catalyst

A carbon nanomaterial for gas storage and a method for manufacturing the same are provided. The specific surface area of the carbon nanomaterial for gas storage is greater than 2000 m2/g. The mesopore volume of the carbon nanomaterial for gas storage is greater than the micropore volume of the carbon nanomaterial for gas storage, and the carbon nanomaterial for gas storage has a peak intensity ratio (ID/IG) between G band and D band, as determined from the Raman spectrum, between 1.1 and 2. In the carbon nanomaterial for gas storage, the pore volume of pores with a pore width of 6 nm or less is bigger than that of pores with a pore width greater than 6 nm.

Carbon nanomaterial for gas storage and method for manufacturing the same

A fuel cell bipolar flow field plate and a fuel cell stack are provided. The fuel cell bipolar flow field plate includes a first gas channel and a second gas channel. Each of the gas channels has several sub-channels, each of the sub-channels has bending parts, and adjacent sub-channels have opposite flow directions. The sub-channels of the two gas channels form a four-leaf clover type pattern in a reaction area of the fuel cell bipolar flow field plate. A bending angle of each of the bending parts in the four-leaf clover type pattern is within 90 degrees.

A cell chip includes first, second and third elements, a dye dialysis layer, a micro-channel structure and washing solution inlet and outlet. The first element has a first hole and second holes at opposite sides of the first hole. The second element has a third hole corresponding to the first hole and fourth holes corresponding to the second holes. The dye dialysis layer is inserted between the first element and the second element and has a cell-assembly region corresponding to the first and third holes. The micro-channel structure is disposed below the cell-assembly region and between the second and the third elements. The washing solution inlet and outlet are communicatively connected to the micro-channel structure. The washing solution inlet includes the second hole and a corresponding fourth hole. A washing solution flows in the micro-channel structure through the washing solution inlet and outlet.

An oxygen content sensor includes a nanoparticle, a plurality of linkers, and a plurality of fluorescent molecules. The linkers are disposed on the nanoparticle. The fluorescent molecules are arranged on the linkers. The linker has at least a hydrophilic region as well as a hydrophobic region. The linker is linked to the nanoparticle through the hydrophilic region, and the fluorescent molecule is linked to the linker through the hydrophobic region.

Method of fabricating optical substrate

A metal ion detection equipment and a metal ion detection method are provided. The metal ion detection equipment includes a porous silicon resonant cavity structure, an electrochemical device and a spectrum detecting device. A sample solution permeates into the porous silicon resonant cavity structure. A to-be-detected metal ion of the sample solution in the porous silicon resonant cavity structure is reduced into a to-be-detected metal by the electrochemical device. The spectrum detecting device detects a spectral variation of a reflective light from the porous silicon resonant cavity structure.

This invention relates to microfluidic chips for and their applications in acquiring sperms with high velocity and/or motility. The microfluidic chip comprises an inlet region, a first flow channel, a divergent channel, an optional block structure with rounded corners and one or more outlet region(s). The invention mimics sperm activation process in body and designs a microfluidic chip mimicking the activation process so that higher amount of populations and/or subpopulations of sperms with high motility can be acquired.

A manufacturing method of a proton exchange membrane is provided, which includes the steps as follows. The hydroxyl groups are disposed on the surface of a substrate by a hydrophilic treatment. The hydroxyl groups on the substrate are chemically modified with a coupling agent by a sol-gel process. The substrate is exposed to an amino acid with a phosphonate radical so that the amino acid containing a phosphonate radical can be chemically bonded with the coupling agent. The chemically bonded substrate is immersed in phosphoric acid for absorbing the phosphoric acid. The substrate blended with the phosphoric acid is placed between at least two leak-proof films for the purpose of preventing the leakage of the absorbed phosphoric acid. The proton exchange membrane manufactured by this method enable to retain the phosphoric acid in organic/inorganic complex form and micron/nano complex pore size.

A liquid lens chip, a driving apparatus and a driving method thereof are provided. The driving apparatus includes a carrier and a driver. The carrier is configured to carry a liquid lens and has a plurality of electrode pairs in contact with the liquid lens. The driver provides a periodic first driving signal to a selected electrode pair of the electrode pairs during a first time period according to a scan control signal to change a shape of the liquid lens. The driver further provides a periodic second driving signal to an opposite electrode pair opposite to the selected electrode pair during a second time period to recover the shape of the liquid lens which has been changed during the first time period.

Liquid lens chip, driving apparatus and driving method thereof

A reactor suitable for a reaction containing an exothermic reaction is provided. The reactor includes the following components. A reaction channel has an inlet and an outlet, and has a front-end reaction zone, middle-end reaction zones, and a back-end reaction zone from the inlet to the outlet. A front-end catalyst support and a front-end catalyst are located in the front-end reaction zone, a middle-end catalyst support and a middle-end catalyst are respectively located in the middle-end reaction zones, and a back-end catalyst support and a back-end catalyst are located in the back-end reaction zone. The concentration of the front-end catalyst is less than the concentration of the back-end catalyst, and the concentration of the middle-end catalyst is decided via a computer simulation of reaction parameters. The reaction parameters include size and geometric shape of the reaction channel.

A hydrogen-generating device is provided, wherein a first substrate includes a liquid container and a first gas container at a first side thereof, and the first substrate sequentially includes a first and second liquid diffusion area and a diverging channel area from the liquid container to the first gas container. The first and second liquid diffusion areas respectively have a plurality of liquid diffusion structures, and the diverging channel area has a plurality of diverging channels. A laminate covers the first side of the first substrate and includes a liquid feed inlet connected to the liquid container. The first side of a second substrate covers the second side of the first substrate and includes a second gas container and a gas reaction channel located at the first side. A catalyst is disposed in the gas reaction channel and a heater is disposed on the second side of the second substrate.

A visible light response photocatalyst structure and a process for manufacturing the same are disclosed, where the structure is manufactured by the GRR for two times, so that the structure has a large surface area, high surface activity, being apt to get integrated with a silicon substrate and endurable to the environment, and further has the rapid and simple manufacturing characteristics without any additional energy required and has a high reproductively.

The present invention is related to a membrane electrochemical signal detection system, which comprises a detection platform and a probe, wherein the detection platform comprises a substrate having a cavity; a hydrogel layer disposed in the cavity of the substrate; and a carrier film disposed above the substrate and the hydrogel layer with at least one through hole corresponding to the cavity of the substrate as a sample slot. The surface of the probe is covered by an insulating layer and a metal for detection is exposed at a tip portion of the probe.
