An outdoor heat exchanger includes a plurality of fins, a blower mechanism, a plurality of heat transfer pipes arranged side by side in a vertical direction, and a first flow divider connected to the plurality of heat transfer pipes. The plurality of heat transfer pipes includes a lowermost heat transfer pipe located on a lowermost side and at least one upper heat transfer pipe located above the lowermost heat transfer pipe. The upper heat transfer pipe includes a merging path connected to the first flow divider, a second flow divider provided at an end portion of the merging path, and at least two branch paths branched from the second flow divider, a flow resistance of a refrigerant in a liquid phase inside the upper heat transfer pipe is smaller than a flow resistance of the refrigerant in a liquid phase inside the lowermost heat transfer pipe.

Outdoor heat exchanger and air conditioner

A gas header includes a first tubular portion and a second tubular portion that are integrated with each other. The second tubular portion is provided across the first tubular portion from a plurality of flat pipes in the horizontal direction. The second tubular portion is connected at a position midway in an up-down direction and upper than a center of the second tubular portion in the up-down direction to a refrigerant pipe. A wall between the first tubular portion and the second tubular portion has a first hole opening and extending in the horizontal direction at a portion connected to the refrigerant pipe and a second hole through which the first tubular portion and the second tubular portion communicate with each other at a portion lower than the first hole and having a hole diameter smaller than a hole diameter of the first hole.

Gas header, heat exchanger, and refrigeration cycle apparatus

A plate heat exchanger includes heat transfer plates having openings at four corners thereof, having outer wall portions at their edges, and stacked together. The heat transfer plates are partially brazed together such that a first flow passage for first fluid and a second flow passage for second fluid are alternately arranged, with a heat transfer plate interposed between these flow passages, the openings communicating with each other, forming a first header allowing the first fluid to flow into and out of the first flow passage and a second header allowing the second fluid to flow into and out of the second flow passage. One heat transfer plate located between the first or second flow passage is formed by stacking two metal plates. Space between the metal plates includes a fine flow passage located within a heat exchange region, and a peripheral leakage passage outward of the fine flow passage.

A plate heat exchanger includes a plurality of heat transfer plates stacked together and each having openings at four corners thereof. The heat transfer plates are partially brazed together such that a first flow passage through which first fluid flows and a second flow passage through which second fluid flows are alternately arranged with one of the heat transfer plates disposed therebetween, openings at the four corners being connected forming first headers through which the first fluid enters and is discharged and second headers through which the second fluid enters and is discharged. At least one of two heat transfer plates between which the first flow passage or the second flow passage is disposed is formed by a pair of metal plates stacked together. The metal plate adjacent to the second flow passage is thinner than the metal plate adjacent to the first flow passage.

A plate heat exchanger includes heat transfer plates each of which has openings at four corners thereof, and which are stacked together. The heat transfer plates are partially brazed together such that a first flow passage through which first fluid flows and a second flow passage through which second fluid flows are alternately arranged, with an associated heat transfer plate interposed between the first and second flow passages. The openings at each of the four corners communicate with each other, thereby forming a first header and a second header, the first header allowing the first fluid to flow into and flow out of the first flow passage, the second header allowing the second fluid to flow into and flow out of the second flow passage.

Plate heat exchanger and heat pump device including the same

A heat exchanger includes a plurality of heat transfer tubes arranged at predetermined intervals in a vertical direction, a tubular header that has a plurality of connection portions where the heat transfer tubes are connected to a side portion of the header and that communicates with each of the heat transfer tubes, a refrigerant pipe that communicates with the header at a middle portion of the header in the vertical direction, and a first bypass pipe having ends one of which communicates with a lower portion of the header and the other of which communicates with a middle portion of the refrigerant pipe. A distance between a communication position at which the first bypass pipe and the refrigerant pipe communicate with each other and an inner wall of the header is not more than double an inside diameter of the refrigerant pipe.

Heat exchanger and refrigeration cycle apparatus

In a plate heat exchanger, a bypass passage and a main passage are formed upstream of first passages and second passages between adjacent ones of first heat transfer plates and second heat transfer plates. The bypass passage allows first fluid flowing from an inflow port of the first fluid or second fluid flowing from an inflow port of the second fluid to pass a side farther than a corresponding one of adjacent holes while spreading in a vertical direction in a front view and then flow into an inner fin or a corrugated heat transfer surface. The main passage allows the first fluid flowing from the inflow port of the first fluid or the second fluid flowing from the inflow port of the second fluid to directly flow toward the inner fin or the corrugated heat transfer surface without routing through the bypass passage. A flat space is formed around an entire circumference of each of the adjacent holes, between a circumferential wall and the inner fin or the corrugated heat transfer surface.
