In a method of locating medical equipment to be serviced, a map of a medical facility is accessed using an electronic processing device. The map includes a plurality of medical equipment each having a tag indicative of a location thereof. A user input is received which is indicative of a selection of a medical equipment of the plurality of medical equipment. A list of service actions to be performed for the selected medical equipment is displayed on a display device of the electronic processing device.

Real-time proximity-based device overview dashboard

To obtain feedback on image quality from qualified reviewers, an optically machine readable code () (e.g., a QR code or the like) is generated for each acquired medical image and embedded into the image. The embedded code includes information to the identity of the image, the imaging device, authorized reviewers, and authorized recipients of the feedback, as well as a link to a feedback form that can be retrieved by a communication device () used by an authorized user. When the embedded code is scanned by the communication device, the code is decoded and the feedback form is retrieved from a server, completed by the reviewer, and transmitted back to the authorized recipients of the feedback.

Quality feedback system for medical images

Presented are concepts for matching a subject to one or more resources or workflow steps. Once such concept comprises obtaining data associated with a subject, the data comprising, for each of a plurality of parameters, a parameter value relating to the subject. A plurality of data groups for characterising the subject is then generated and a classification process is applied to each data group so as to generate a classification result for each data group. The subject is then matched to one or more resources or workflow steps based on the classification results.

Matching a subject to resources

The invention provides for a magnetic resonance imaging system () comprising a memory () for storing machine executable instructions () and pulse sequence commands (). The pulse sequence commands are configured for acquiring a four dimensional magnetic resonance data set () from an imaging region of interest (). The four dimensional magnetic resonance data set is at least divided into three dimensional data magnetic resonance data sets () indexed by a repetitive motion phase of the subject. The three dimensional data magnetic resonance data sets are further at least divided into and indexed by k-space portions (). The magnetic resonance imaging system further comprises a processor () for controlling the magnetic resonance imaging system. Execution of the machine executable instructions causes the processor during a first operational portion () to iteratively: receive () a motion signal () descriptive of the repetitive motion phase; acquire () an initial k-space portion using the pulse sequence commands, wherein the initial k-space portion is selected from the k-space portions; store () the motion signal and the initial k-space portion in a buffer () for each iteration of the first operational portion; at least partially construct () a motion phase mapping () between the motion signal and the repetitive motion phase; and continue () the first operational portion until the motion phase mapping is complete. Execution of the machine executable instructions causes the processor to assign () the initial k-space portion for each iteration of the first operational portion in the temporary buffer to the four dimensional magnetic resonance data set using the motion phase mapping. Execution of the machine executable instructions causes the processor during a second operational portion () to iteratively: receive () the motion signal; determine () a predicted next motion phase using the motion signal and the motion phase mapping; select () a subsequent k-space portion () from the k-space portions of the four dimensional magnetic resonance data set using the predicted next motion phase; acquire () the subsequent k-space portion using the pulse sequence commands; rereceive () the motion signal; determine () a current motion phase using the re-received motion signal and the motion phase mapping; assign () the subsequent k-space portion to the four dimensional magnetic resonance data set using the current motion phase; and repeat () the second operational portion until the k-space portions for each repetitive motion phase has been assigned.

Acquisition of four dimensional magnetic resonance data during subject motion

A system with integrated tracking includes a procedure-specific hardware component (or) disposed at or near a region of interest. A field generator () is configured to generate a field with a field of view covering the region of interest. A mounting device () is connected to the field generator and is coupled to the procedure-specific hardware. The field generator is fixedly positioned by the mounting device to permit workflow access to the region of interest without interfering with the field generator and to provide a known position of the field generator relative to the region of interest. A tracking device () is configured to be inserted in or near the region of interest to be tracked within the field of view of the field generator to generate tracking data.

An interventional therapy system may include at least one catheter configured for insertion within an object of interest (OOI); and at least one controller which configured to: obtain a reference image dataset including a plurality of image slices which form a three-dimensional image of the OOI; define restricted areas (RAs) within the reference image dataset; determine location constraints for the at least one catheter in accordance with at least one of planned catheter intersection points, a peripheral boundary of the OOI and the RAs defined in the reference dataset; determine at least one of a position and an orientation of the distal end of the at least one catheter; and/or determine a planned trajectory for the at least one catheter in accordance with the determined at least one position and orientation for the at least one catheter and the location constraints.

When predicting required component service in an imaging device such as a magnetic resonance (MR) imaging device (), component parameters such as coil voltage, phase lock lost (PLL) events, etc. are sampled to monitor system components. Voltage samples are filtered according to their temporal proximity to coil plug-in and unplug events to generate a filtered data set that is analyzed by a processor () to determine whether to transmit a fault report. A service recommendation is received based on the transmitted report and includes a root cause diagnosis and service recommendation that is output to a user interface ().

Device and context specific signal pattern analysis for magnetic resonance imaging equipment component diagnostics and predictive maintenance

The invention provides for a magnetic resonance imaging system () comprising a main magnet () for generating a main magnetic field within an imaging zone (). The magnetic resonance imaging system further comprises an RF coil () for acquiring magnetic resonance data () from the imaging zone, wherein the RF coil comprises multiple RF ports (). The RF coil comprises a switch unit () for at least one of the multiple RF ports to individually couple or uncouple the at least one of of the multiple RF ports from the RF coil. The magnetic resonance imaging system further comprises a radio-frequency system () for supplying radio-frequency power to each of the multiple RF ports and an RF matching detection system () for measuring impedance matching data () between the radio-frequency system and the RF coil. Execution of the machine executable instructions causes a processor controlling the magnetic resonance imaging system to measure () the impedance matching data using the RF matching detection system; determine () switch unit control instructions () using the impedance matching data, wherein the switch control instructions contain commands that control the at least one of the multiple RF ports to couple or decouple to impedance match the radio-frequency system to the RF coil; and control () the switch unit of the at least one of the multiple RF ports with the switch unit control instructions.

Radiation-transparent, low-cost, lightweight, versatile, composite radio frequency coil for MRI

The invention provides for a medical instrument () comprising a magnetic resonance imaging system () operable for acquiring magnetic resonance data () from a subject () within an imaging zone () and an external beam radiotherapy system () operable for irradiating a target zone () within the imaging zone. The medical instrument further has a radiation beam generation system (&#x2033;) operable for generating a radiation beam (&#x2033;) and a radiation beam detection system (') operable for acquiring radiation beam detection data () descriptive of the radiation beam. The generation of a pattern and for an adaptation to the specific geometry requires a lot of manual work. The workflow for the clinician is simplified during treatment planning. A treatment planning system is configured for determining a set of catheter or needle insertion positions to be used during treatment. The treatment planning system includes an image providing module for providing a medical image from which at least one treatment target structure can be derived. Further the treatment planning system includes a pattern providing module for providing one or a set of standard patterns for catheter or needle insertion including a plurality of catheter or needle insertion positions. The catheter or needle positions relate to treatment positions in the at least one treatment target structure.
