The present disclosure provides a metal-ceramic composite structure and a fabrication method thereof. The metal-ceramic composite structure includes a ceramic substrate having a groove on a surface thereof; a metal member filled in the groove, including a main body made of zirconium base alloy, and a reinforcing material dispersed in the main body and selected from at least one of W, Mo, Ni, Cr, stainless steel, WC, TiC, SiC, ZrC, ZrO, BN, SiN, TiN and AlO; a luminance value L of the metal member surface is in a range of 36.92-44.07 under a LAB Chroma system.

Metal-ceramic composite structure and fabrication method thereof

The present disclosure provides a magnesium alloy and a preparation method and an application thereof. Based on the total weight of the magnesium alloy, the magnesium alloy includes 0.8-1.4 wt % of rare earth element, 0.01-0.2 wt % of R, 0.8-1.5 wt % of Mn, 0-0.01 wt % of Fe, 0-0.01 wt % of Cu, 0-0.01 wt % of Ni, 0-0.01 wt % of Co, 0-0.01 wt % of Sn, 0-0.01 wt % of Ca, and 96.84-98.39 wt % of Mg, wherein R is at least one selected from Al and Zn.

Magnesium alloy and method of preparing the same

The present disclosure provides a magnesium alloy and a preparation method and an application thereof. Based on the total weight of the magnesium alloy, the magnesium alloy includes 2-3.5 wt % of Ce, 0.01-0.2 wt % of R, 0.8-1.5 wt % of Mn, 0-0.01 wt % of Fe, 0-0.01 wt % of Cu, 0-0.01 wt % of Ni, 0-0.01 wt % of Co, 0-0.01 wt % of Sn, 0-0.01 wt % of Ca, and 94.74-97.19 wt % of Mg, wherein R is at least one selected from Al and Zn.

M contains at least one element selected from transition group elements. N contains at least one selected from Al and Ti. Amorphous alloy and method for manufacturing the same

A method of joining an amorphous alloy material to a heterogeneous material and a composite formed by the same are provided. The method comprises steps of: placing a pre-formed piece made of one of the amorphous alloy material and the heterogeneous material into a mold; heating the other of the amorphous alloy material and the heterogeneous material to a predetermined temperature, and casting the other of the amorphous alloy material and the heterogeneous material into the mold to form a transition connection part joining the amorphous alloy material to the heterogeneous material and having a fusion welded structure, a microstructure reinforcing connection structure and a composite connection structure; and cooling the amorphous alloy material and the heterogeneous material at a rate higher than a critical cooling rate of the amorphous alloy material to obtain a composite formed by joining the amorphous alloy material to the heterogeneous material by the transition connection part.

Composite and preparation method of joining amorphous alloy material to heterogeneous material

Alloys and methods for preparing the same are provided. The alloys are represented by the general formula of (ZrAlCuNi)YM, wherein a, b, c, and d are atomic fractions, in which: 0.472&#x2266;a&#x2266;0.568; 0.09&#x2266;b&#x2266;0.11; 0.27&#x2266;c&#x2266;0.33; 0.072&#x2266;d&#x2266;0.088; the sum of a, b, c, and d equals 1; e and f are atomic numbers of elements Y and M respectively, in which 0&#x2266;e&#x2266;5 and 0.01&#x2266;f&#x2266;5; and M is selected from the group consisting of Nb, Ta, Sc, and combinations thereof.

Amorphous alloys having zirconium and methods thereof

The present disclosure discloses an amorphous alloy composite material comprises an amorphous and continuous matrix phase, and a plurality of equiaxed crystalline phases as reinforcing phases dispersed in the matrix phase. Oxygen content in the amorphous alloy composite material may be less than 2100 ppm. The present disclosure also discloses a method of preparing the same. With the equiaxed crystalline phases dispersed in the matrix phase, the plasticity of the amorphous alloy composite material may be improved considerably.

Amorphous alloy composite material and manufacturing method of the same

Alloys and methods of preparing the same are provided. A Zr-based amorphous alloy and a method of preparing the same are provided. The Zr-based amorphous alloy is represented by the general formula of (ZrM)O, in which a is an atomic fraction of Zr, and x is an atomic percent of 0, in which: 0.3&#x2266;a&#x2266;0.9, and 0.02&#x2266;x&#x2266;0.6; and M represents at least three elements selected from the group consisting of transition metals other than Zr, Group IIA metals, and Group IIIA metals.
