A method for generating a rating of entertainment content is provided. The method includes receiving data from a monitoring device associated with a spectator, the monitoring device communicatively coupled to the computing system, wherein the data obtained by the monitoring device includes a physical expression of the spectator viewing the entertainment content, analyzing the physical expression of the spectator to obtain (i) an eyesight direction of the spectator, and (ii) a facial expression of the spectator, during a scene of the entertainment content, determining an emotional reaction of the spectator to the scene of the entertainment content based on the analyzing of the physical expression of the spectator, calculating an emotional ranking of the scene of the entertainment content based on the emotional reaction of the spectator to the scene, and providing the overall ranking of the entertainment content in view of an aggregate of emotional reactions of the spectator.

A method of enhancing a visual image of a display is described. The visual image is displayed on a first display of a display device having a first display pixel density and a first display dimension. The display device detects an enhancer device oriented in an operable position to the display device. The enhancer display device has a second display having a second display pixel density higher than the first display pixel density and a second display dimension less than the first display dimension. A spatial orientation is determined between the first display of the display device with the second display of the enhancer display device. The display device sends the visual image and the spatial orientation to the enhancer display device to display a portion of the visual image that is defined by the spatial orientation on the second display in the second display pixel density.

A solution for installing software applications on a mobile computing device is proposed. The sensitive information (for example a credit card number for carrying out an e-commerce transaction) is split () into several chunks, which are meaningless when taken alone. Each chuck is inserted () into a corresponding data frame, adding noise information. Information about how to extract each chunk from the corresponding data frame and how to use the chunks to reconstruct the original sensitive information is inserted () into a control frame. The data and control frames are distributed () to different interface computers of the INTERNET; the frames are then forwarded () to the server computer, which is not connected to the INTERNET directly but communicates through a secure private network with the interface computers. The server computer extracts () the chunks from the data frames and recombines them into the original information according to the content of the control frame.

Method and system for transmitting sensitive information over a network

A management system comprises a gateway component adapted to reside on a workstation and a device agent adapted to reside on a pervasive device for configuring pervasive devices. The gateway component is instantiable during synchronization of the workstation with a pervasive device to transfer the device agent to the pervasive device; and to transmit configuration information to the pervasive device. The device agent executes configuration commands in response to the configuration information. The invention enables pervasive devices to be managed through a workstation to which they connect to synchronize without requiring any intervention by the pervasive device user. Preferably, the workstation acts as a gateway for managing the device within what becomes a four tier management system.

When the user starts a browsing, the current browsing starting location is intercepted from the browsing program. The intercepted browsing starting location is searched in the database. If the intercepted browsing starting location is found in the database, a list of links to the browsing target locations associated with the intercepted browsing starting location is retrieved from the database, and the list is proposed to the user the retrieved list of links in the form of shortcuts, which the user can activate for speedily reaching the desired browsing target location.
