A device for protecting an edge of a bucket including a rail having a retaining notch, the device including a protective part which is designed so as to be slipped onto the rail and which includes at least one locking abutment, the device also including a shim which is designed to be mounted on the protective part so as to be inserted into the retaining notch in order to block the sliding of the protective part, the device including a locking key which is movable relative to the shim, between a first angular position, in which it allows installation and removal of the shim in the window, and a second angular position, in which the key abuts against the locking abutment and thus prevents removal of the shim.

Device, system and method for protecting an edge of a bucket

An air supply plenum for an engine, the plenum being disposed upstream of an air intake of the engine, the air intake being provided in a casing of the engine. The air supply plenum includes a first lateral wall and a second lateral wall which together form a conduit in which an air flow flows as the engine functions. Each lateral wall includes a step which forms a transverse recess relative to the direction of the air flow in the air supply plenum, such that an aerodynamic separation occurs in the step when the engine is operating.

The present invention relates to a mechanical system (), comprising a support (), a wearing part () and a connecting device () between the wearing part () and the support thereof (). The device () comprises an elastic sheath () provided with an internal cavity () and with an external wall () that is adjustable in a housing () of the support (), and a pin () having an elongate body along a pin axis (X). According to the invention, the device () also comprises a cam () provided with an external wall () that is adjustable in the internal cavity () of the sheath () and with an internal cavity () intended to receive the pin (), and when the device () is positioned in the housing () of the support (), the pin () and the cam () are able to rotate as one in the internal cavity () of the sheath (), between an insertion configuration (A) of the pin () into the cam () and at least one locking configuration in which the pin () bears, radially with respect to the pin axis (X), against the wearing part (), while the cam () bears against the sheath () and deforms the external wall () thereof counter to the housing () of the support (), thereby forming a coupling connection between the wearing part () and the support ().

A mechanical system includes a wear part and a support, belonging to the equipment of a construction machine. The support includes a base, a nose which extends from the base along a main axis, and to each side of the base, a housing for receiving a lug of the wear part. The nose includes a first area located near the proximal end of the nose and which includes at least six planar faces arranged in opposite pairs delimiting sections of a first type, and a second area located near the distal end of the nose and which includes at least six planar faces arranged in opposite pairs delimiting sections of a second type, each planar face of the second area being less inclined, relative to the main axis, than the planar face of the first area, which is located in the extension of the planar face in the proximal direction.

A mechanical system () includes a support (), a tooth () and a device () for interconnecting the two components. The device () includes a key (), a nut () and an elastic sheath () provided with a wall that is adjustable by deformation in a housing () of the support, by screwing between the key and the nut, between an insertion configuration and a locking configuration. The device () also includes a support ring () inserted between the key and an opening () made in the tooth (). In the insertion configuration of the device (), the support ring () is adjusted in the opening (), while in the locking configuration of the device (), the support ring () exerts retaining forces on the tooth (). A mechanical system () includes a support (), a tooth () and a device () for interconnecting the two components. The device includes an elastic sheath () having an inner cavity () and an outer wall () adjustable in a housing () of the support, and a key () adjustable in the cavity. The sheath and the key can be rotated together in a fixed manner about a pivoting axis in the housing, between an insertion configuration and a locking configuration, thereby forming a coupling connection between the tooth and the support. The inner cavity extends into the sheath along an eccentric axis that is radically staggered in relation to the pivoting axis. The inner cavity is provided with elements for rotatably securing to driving elements () arranged on the key. A heavy-construction machine bucket including such a system, and a method for implementing such a system are also described.
