The invention relates to a wheeled vehicle () comprising: a chassis () carrying an engine (), a starter () of the engine and a device for actuating said starter (), a control unit, and an activatable/deactivatable device for energising the control unit, said vehicle () having an economical operating mode in which, in the activated state of the energising device, the control unit is designed to allow the motor () to be stopped without actuation of the energising device, said stoppage being called energised stoppage of the engine (). The vehicle () comprises a memory for storing data relating to the number of starts of the engine () and the control unit is designed to allow or prohibit the energised stoppage of the engine (), in the economical operating mode, according to said stored data.

Disclosed is a cherry picker () comprising a chassis (), a heat engine (), a starter () and a starter actuator () for said engine (), a platform (), means () for lifting the platform () that include a lifting arm (), a control console () that includes a control unit () for the lifting means (), a drive unit configured to control at least the arm () according to the data input into the control console (), a member for powering the drive unit (), a member () for activating/deactivating the control unit () for the lifting means (), said member () being mounted to as to be movable between an inactive position, in which the control unit () for the lifting means () is deactivated, and an active position. In the working configuration, which corresponds to the raised position of the arm (), the cherry picker () has an operating mode in which, when the heat engine () is in a stopped state while being powered, the drive unit () is configured to control the start of the heat engine () by means of the activating/deactivating member () without the actuator () for the starter () being actuated.
