Multicomponent fibers with a piezoelectric effect, including an electroactive fluoropolymer shell which adheres to a metal core. Also, a solvent-based fluoropolymer formulation which makes it possible to obtain optimum adhesion to a bare, electrically conductive metal filament. Also, a process for manufacturing these composite fibers, and also their uses in varied sectors of technical textiles, filtration and in electronics.

Polymer formulation for coating a metal core

The invention relates to an anode for a Li-ion rechargeable battery, said anode being covered with a protective film based on fluorinated copolymer(s). The invention also relates to the processes for preparing this anode. The invention also relates to a Li-ion rechargeable battery comprising an anode according to the invention. The invention lastly relates to the use of fluorinated copolymer(s) as film for covering an anode for a lithium-ion battery comprising a negative electrode active material.

The present invention relates to compositions obtained by mixing specific electroactive fluoro-terpolymers and specific electroactive fluorinated copolymers. The invention also concerns liquid formulations (inks) that can be used through conventional processing technologies for printed electronics and microelectronics in a safe environment, based on these compositions. Another aspect of this invention are the films manufactured using these formulations, and the devices comprising at least one layer of these films.

The invention relates to a copolymer comprising units derived from monomers of vinylidene fluoride and/or trifluoroethylene, as well as fluorinated monomers X comprising a double bond and a leaving group selected from among chlorine, bromine and iodine atoms, the leaving groups being partially replaced by azide groups in the copolymer.

Crosslinkable electroactive fluorinated polymers

The invention relates to a composition comprising a blend of fluorinated electroactive polymers and having a dielectric permittivity that exhibits greater stability over the operating temperature range with respect to each polymer employed on its own. The invention also relates to formulations and films produced on the basis of said composition. A process for preparing a crosslinked fluoropolymer film, including the successive steps of: (1) formulating an ink containing: (a) the product of the reaction of triethylamine with at least one fluorinated copolymer obtained by radical copolymerization of monomers including: (i) vinylidene fluoride (VDF), (ii) trifluoroethylene (TrFE), (iii) at least one chlorinated monomer of formula &#x2014;CXCl&#x2550;CXXwhere X, Xand Xindependently denote H, F or CF, wherein at most one of X, Xand Xdenotes CF; (b) at least one crosslinking agent; (c) at least one photoinitiator; and (d) at least one organic solvent; (2) applying said ink in film form to a substrate; and (3) UV-irradiating said film. Also, the film capable of being obtained according to this process, and also to the uses thereof, in particular in the manufacture of (opto)electronic devices and more particularly in the manufacture of a gate dielectric layer in a field-effect transistor.

Method for preparing a cross-linked fluorinated polymer film

The present invention relates to the use of a fluorinated copolymer in the manufacture of a solid polymer film, to give said film properties of adhesion to a metal surface or to glass. It also relates to a process for improving the adhesion of a fluoropolymer to a metal, polymer or glassy substrate, and also to a composite part comprising a solid polymer film in direct contact with at least one metal or glassy element.

Use of a vinylidene fluoride copolymer for providing a film with properties of adhesion

The invention relates to a fluorinated copolymers which are particularly based on vinylidene fluoride (VDF) or trifluoroethylene (TrFE) and particularly functionalized by functional and/or functionizable vinyl ethers. The invention also relates to methods for producing said copolymers, and to the applications thereof.

The invention relates to a composition comprising at least one electroactive fluorinated terpolymer, and at least one second polymer compatible with the electroactive fluorinated terpolymer and having a glass transition temperature lower than that of the electroactive fluorinated terpolymer. Method for preparation of derivatives of polyvinylidene fluoride

The present invention relates to the preparation of trifluoroethylene (VFor TrFE) by hydrogenolyzis of chlorotrifluoroethylene (CTFE) in the gaseous phase over a group VIII metal catalyst deposited on a support. This method can be used to obtain VFin an economical manner in conditions which minimize the risk of explosion of this molecule. Using a catalyst containing a group VIII metal and, more specifically, containing Pd deposited on a support and a specific series of steps of separation and purification makes it possible to obtain excellent CTFE conversion rates and high selectivity in VFat atmospheric pressure and at low temperatures.

Method for synthesising trifluoroethylene from chlorotrifluoroethylene

A method for working or forming metals which consists in usings an aqueous lubricant containing as water-soluble extreme pressure additive, methanesulphonic acid or water-soluble methanesulphonic acid salt. The water-soluble methane sulphonic acid salt is an alkali or alkaline-earth, ammonium, alkanol amine or ethoxylated fatty amine salt. The inventive aqueous lubricants have good extreme pressure properties and good properties with respect to corrosion.

Method for working or forming metals in the presence of aqueous lubricants based on methanesulfonic acid

A latex which forms a film by evaporation at a temperature of less than 40&deg; C. is based on hydrophobic polymer particles having a core/shell structure. The particles consist of 70 to 90% by weight of at least one polymer with a soft character having a glass transition temperature of less than 20&deg; C. forming the core, and 10 to 30% by weight of at least one polymer with a hard character having a glass transition temperature of greater than 50&deg; C. forming the shell. When applied to any surface and after drying at low temperature, the latex, without the use of any coalescents or volatile organic compounds, provides a continuous film which is homogeneous, has no surface tack and has good mechanical integrity.

The invention concerns hydrophobic films for coating surfaces obtained by drying at low temperature, not requiring coalescent agents, latex containing a core-structured polymer with soft characteristic having a glass transition temperature lower than 20&deg; C. enclosed in a shell with hard characteristic having a glass transition temperature higher than 50&deg; C.
