The invention concerns a device for injecting a solid medicine () comprising a body () inside which moves along a general forward moving axis (X-X) a bevelled () needle () wherein is introduced the medicine (), said injection device () further comprising retaining means for preventing the medicine from falling () prior to being injected. The invention is characterized in that the medicine () is retained through an elastic deformation imparted to the needle () by the retaining means or by an elastic deformation of the retaining means themselves, or still by the combined flexibility of those two means.

Device for injecting a pharmaceutical active principle

The invention relates to a device which is used to inject an implant () into tissues (). The inventive device is characterized in that it comprises: a main hollow body (') having a hollow needle (&#x2032;) fixed thereto, into which the implant () is introduced; a secondary body (&#x2032;) which is disposed coaxially inside the main body (&#x2032;) and which surrounds the needle (&#x2032;); and a plunger rod (&#x2032;) which can slide coaxially inside the hollow needle (&#x2032;). The injection device (&#x2032;) is arranged such that: (i) when it is pressed against the tissues (), the main body (&#x2032;) slides along the length of the secondary body (&#x2032;) from a proximal position to a distal position such that the needle (&#x2032;) can penetrate the tissues (), whereby the movement of the main body (&#x2032;) is accompanied by the concomitant movement of the plunger rod (&#x2032;); and (ii) the plunger rod (&#x2032;) remains fixed and maintains the implant () at the required depth in the tissues () until the needle (&#x2032;) is removed therefrom when the main body (&#x2032;) is returned from the distal position to the proximal position.

Device for the injection of a solid or semi-solid implant

The invention concerns a device for back injecting an implant () into the skin () of a subject, said device () include a hollow main body (), to which a hollow needle () is fixed into which the implant () is introduced, a secondary body () coaxially arranged inside the main body () and surrounding the needle () and a piston rod () able to slide coaxially inside said hollow needle () and whose position relative to said needle () remains unchanged when the back injection device () is pressed against the subject's skin () to allow the needle () to penetrate said subject's skin and when the secondary body () retracts inside the main body (), the piston rod () penetrating the interior of the hollow needle () to hold the implant () at the required depth in the subject's skin () during withdrawal of the hollow needle () from the subject's skin (), during which the secondary body () exits the main body (), characterized in that it includes means for the elastic return of the secondary body () from the main body ().

Implant back-injecting device

A safety device for a syringe constituted by a body, a needle carrier mounted at one end of the body, a piston that is axially movable in the body, and a piston plunger projecting from the body at its end opposite from the needle carrier and suitable for pushing the piston inside the body towards the needle carrier, the device comprising a sheath in which the syringe body can slide axially between an injection position in which the needle carrier is flush with one end of the sheath and a safe position in which the needle carrier is retracted into the sheath, a helical spring which is axially compressed when the syringe body is in the injection position, said spring then exerting on said body a force tending to cause it to slide into the safe position, retention means for retaining the syringe body in the injection position, and a release mechanism for releasing the retention means acting on said retention means when the piston plunger of the syringe has pushed the piston inside the body into the vicinity of the needle carrier, wherein the retention means for retaining the body of the syringe in the injection position in the sheath are constituted by at least one radially-movable resilient tab extending substantially longitudinally relative to the sheath and arranged to hold the spring in the compressed state even when the syringe body is not in the sheath.

Safety device for an injection syringe

Safety device for a syringe is constituted by a body, a needle carrier, a piston, and a piston plunger. The device includes a sheath and a body. The syringe body may slide axially inside the sheath between an injection position and a safe position. A return member urges the syringe body towards the safe position, and may be triggered automatically when the piston plunger is pushed into the body. A telescopic head is capable of taking up a retracted position and an extended position. A combination for locking the telescopic head in the extended position may be constituted by a combination of two oppositely-directed axial bearing surfaces bearing against two oppositely-directed axial bearing surfaces of the sheath, and two oppositely-directed lateral bearing surfaces which bear against two oppositely-directed lateral bearing surfaces of the sheath.
