System for handling cardboard reels to feed machines that produce cardboard tubes, comprising a station (F) for picking up the reels configured to receive a stack () of overlapping cardboard reels (), a station (U) for unwinding of the reels, and handling means (D) for moving the reels () along a predetermined path. The means (D) for moving the reels comprise pneumatic means intended to pressurize a space (S) inside the stack of reels, in which said space includes the interface between an uppermost reel of the stack and the underlying reel, and gripping means configured and controlled to perform grip and release of the highest reel in the stack respectively.

A rewinding machine for producing paper logs by winding a paper web, comprising: elements for feeding a paper web along a predetermined path at a predetermined feeding speed; web pre-cutting elements; web winding elements; web sizing elements, with a pad adapted to cyclically apply glue by contact on the web, the pad being mounted on a pad-holder device connected with a corresponding actuator. The web sizing elements are arranged upstream of a web winding station. The pad-holder device is controlled such that, when the pad contacts the web, the pad is moved with a speed lower than the speed of the web along the respective feeding path so as to cause a prolonged contact of the pad with the web while the pad and the web move.

Rewinding machine and method for the production of logs of paper material

Rewinding machine for producing paper logs by winding a paper web, include: an element for feeding a paper web along a predetermined path at a predetermined feeding speed; web pre-cutting elements; web winding elements; web sizing elements, with a pad adapted to cyclically apply glue by contact on the web, the pad being mounted on a pad-holder device connected with a corresponding actuator. The pad is mounted on the pad-holder device by an elastic support which deforms elastically, such that the pad moves elastically towards the pad-holder, when it is subjected to a pressure and moves automatically in the opposite direction returning to its previous position when the pad is no longer subjected to a pressure.

Equipment for the production of cardboard tubes, comprising a tube-forming machine () provided with means for forming cardboard tubes with strips of cardboard () helically wound on a forming spindle (), comprising a feeding unit () for feeding said cardboard strips, and comprising guide means () for guiding the cardboard strips () along a predetermined path () between the feeding unit () and the tube-forming machine (), wherein in a final section () of said path the strips of cardboard () enter into the tube-forming machine (). The guide means () are arranged and acting, along the said path, such that in said final section () of said path the cardboard strips () enter from the above or from the bottom into the tube-forming machine (), so that said final section () is a descending or an ascending section of said path.

Equipment and method for the production of cardboard tubes

Paper converting plant including a rewinder adapted to produce paper logs and having an inlet for feeding a paper web, a winding station where the logs are formed and an exit station for unloading the finished logs. The rewinder has walls delimiting a chamber inside which the logs are formed, and an air suction channel at a lower part of chamber. The suction channel exerts a suction causing the formation of an air flow directed from the top to the bottom inside the chamber. The chamber includes two semi-chambers communicating with the air suction channel such that a vertical air flow directed downwards is generated in each of them, the chamber being provided with a manner for regulating the vertical air flows providing vertically oriented identical air flow rates in the semi-chambers.

Paper converting plant

Equipment for removing paper from parent reels used for the production of paper logs of paper material, including a support system adapted to support an exhausted parent reel, where the exhausted parent reel includes a tubular core on which residual paper to be removed is wound, and including removal capabilities for removing the residual paper from the core when the exhausted parent reel is placed on the support system. The removal capabilities include a suction cylinder having a horizontal axis onto which the paper is transferred by effect of the contact between the suction cylinder and the exhausted parent reel and by effect of the rotation of the suction cylinder around the horizontal axis.

Equipment for removing paper from parent reels used for the production of logs of paper material

Rewinder for the production of paper logs adapted to guide and transversely pre-cut a paper web along a predetermined path, adapted to wind a predetermined amount of the paper web on a core in a winding station, and including a threading mechanism for threading the web along said path. The threading mechanism includes a dragging unit provided to engage the web to drag it along the path with a predetermined feed direction and at least one dragging member to engage a respective flap of the web preceding the production of the logs. The dragging unit is located downstream of the winding station and is adapted to release the flap of the web from the dragging member, the release means being arranged downstream of the dragging so as to intercept the flap of the web and disengage it from the dragging while the web is fed.

Rewinder for the production of paper logs

Apparatus for trimming paper rolls or logs () including: a section for the entry of the logs () to be trimmed; a section for the exit of the trimmed logs ('); a station with cutting device () for trimming the logs (); a device () for moving the logs (&#x2032;) between the entry section, the cutting station and the exit section; a device (), associated with the log-moving device (), for retaining the logs when subjected to movement.

Apparatus for trimming paper rolls or logs and an operating method for treating the logs

Rewinding machine for the production of logs of paper material, including a winding station in which is fed a paper web and, in sequence, more tubular cores, and in which station winding are arranged a first, a second and a third winding roller cooperating with each other to wind a predetermined amount of said paper web onto each core. The machine includes a fourth winding roller which is connected to respective moving elements adapted to arrange it in a first inoperative position until the diameter of a log in the winding station is lower than a first predetermined value and a second operating winding position when the diameter of the log being formed is equal to said first predetermined value, the moving elements being controlled to maintain the fourth roller in the second operating winding position until the diameter of the log reaches a second final value higher of the first predetermined value.

Machine and process for the production of logs of paper material

Method for the handling of parent reels in paper converting plants, comprising the following steps: (a) providing at least one platform with a base adapted to support a parent reel in a waiting station and at least one unwinder (S) adapted to receive said reel in an unwinding station where the parent reel is unwound; (b) positioning a parent reel () on the platform at the waiting station; (c) transporting the parent reel () along a predefined path from said platform to said unwinder (S) by means of a bridge crane (CP) equipped with movable arms (BC). The step (c) is preceded by a first step consisting in the temporary association of two pins (P) to the arms (BC) of the bridge crane (CP) and by a second step consisting in inserting the two pins (P) in two opposite bases of the parent reel () using the same arms (BC); and the step (c) involves the transport of the reel () along a path comprising at least one ascending or descending portion with the pins (P) thus inserted into the parent reel ().

Method for handling parent reels in paper converting plants

Process for the production of paper rolls, including a step of producing logs (L) of paper material by winding a predetermined amount of paper web (W) about a respective longitudinal axis, a step of transverse cutting of the logs (L) to obtain rolls (RO) of predetermined length, and an intermediate step of transporting the logs (L) from a rewinder (R) that produces the logs (L) toward a cutting-off machine (CM) that cuts them transversely. The intermediate transporting step involves the handling of the logs (L) along a path comprising a lateral deviation, so that, as they advance, the logs (L) are subjected to the lateral deviation.

The apparatus includes a platform () with one or more longitudinal channels () inside which the logs to be cut are disposed, and a pusher device () acting in correspondence of the platform () and intended for acting on the back of the logs () to push them, along respective guide channels (), toward a cutting device () disposed downstream. The apparatus includes a clamping device () disposed intermediate between the pusher device () and the cutting device () and intended for engaging the logs () which are pushed along the channels () of platform () by the pusher device () and driving them along up to the cutting device ().

Apparatus and method for moving logs within cutting-off machines

Paper converting plant, including means for producing logs of paper material starting from one or more paper webs fed by corresponding reels, an embossing unit, a bridge crane with arms provided with grippers, and a rewinder that produces logs using the webs coming from the embossing unit, wherein the embossing unit is arranged to be configured in a first use configuration in which one or more embossing rollers positioned inside it are stably locked to respective support means and a second removal configuration in which said one or more embossing rollers are disengaged from said support means and can be extracted from the embossing unit, the plant also includes a storing unit in which are stored one or more embossing rolls according to a predefined storage order such that each embossing roller occupies a predetermined position in the same storage unit, each embossing roller having a respective longitudinal axis.
