An assembly for packaging products including at least one line for supplying the products to be packaged, at least one dispenser of covering sheets, a plurality of handling devices for juxtaposing a sheet on a respective product, and at least one output line for the packaged products.

Product packaging assembly

An outlet device for chocolates and like products () for use with a wrapping machine () which has a device () for moving each product (). The outlet device has a first belt () for moving products () to be rolled, which is operated by an actuator (), through a first connecting device (), which connects the first belt () to the actuator (), moving the first belt in a first direction (A) in accordance with the rotary motion of the actuator (). A rolling device () faces the first belt () and is used for rolling products () moved by the first belt. A second belt () moves products () which do not require rolling, the second belt also operated by the actuator (), through a second connecting device (), the second belt rotated in a second direction (B) also in accordance with rotation of the actuator ().

Outlet device for chocolates and the like

A feeding device of chocolates and similar products for a wrapping machine includes: a first belt means which has a continuous advance motion, supports and moves a plurality of products, aligned and arranged in a single line at mutual contact; a second belt means aligned downstream the first belt means, having an alternate advance motion and associated to holding means of the product; a positioning wheel rotating, facing the second belt means immediately downstream the holding means and having a plurality of angularly equidistant pliers means for gripping the product. The second belt means moves the products, reciprocally spaced, from a picking condition, in which the second belt means receives the product from the first belt means, through moving conditions, in which the holding means keep each product fixed to the second belt means, to a transfer condition, in which the second belt means is motionless and the product, not constrained thereto anymore, is grasped by a pliers means of the positioning wheel, which moves the product with a circular motion from the transfer condition to a release condition in which the wheel is motionless and the pliers means is opened for transferring the product to the wrapping machine.

Feeding device of chocolates and similar products

The closing of the end edges of the wrapper (5) which is wrapped around the product in a shape made tubular in a known manner, is performed by folders, some of which are dynamic (15, 15' and 17, 17' ), located in different stations, and some static (8, 8' and 18, 18'). The first pair of dynamic folders (15, 15}') is mounted on the same dynamic folder (14) that folds the first lateral edge (505) of the wrapper. A possible option is to replace the last pair of dynamic folders (17, 17') with a pair of static folders (25, 25'). Before the final rolling stage, the wrapped product passes through a shaped channel (19) that keeps the end folds of the wrapper correctly arranged. The last pair of static folders (18, 18') may be incorporated in this channel. The end edges of the wrapper may be folded in three or in four consecutive portions laid over each other.

Method and apparatus for closing the edges of wrapping material

A device for applying adhesive bands to packets, whereby an annular conveyor feeds the bands along a path having a first portion extending along a portion of the path along which the packets are supplied, a second portion extending between the output of the first portion and a loading station where the bands are loaded on to the conveyor, and a third portion extending between the loading station and the input of the first portion and past a gumming device; the conveyor being a suction conveyor having at least a first suction chamber wherein a selective vacuum is formed and extending along the first and second portions of the path along which the bands are fed, and a second suction chamber wherein a constant vacuum is maintained and extending along the third portion of the path along which the bands are fed.
