An inkjet printer () comprising: an inkjet printing head (); a service station () provided for the maintenance of the printing head () and having a protective cap (), in turn adapted to be coupled in contact with a front surface () of the printing head () to protect it; and a cleaning device (), associated with the service station, wherein the cleaning device () comprises a receptacle () adapted to be moved between a first operative position (P), in which the receptacle () is arranged between the protective cap () and the front surface of the printing head () to receive a determined amount of ink ejected, in the form of drops, by the printing head () during programmed cleaning cycles, and a second operative position (P), in which the receptacle () is laterally displaced with respect to the protective cap (), to allow the contact coupling between the printing head () and the protective cap (). Thanks to this configuration of the cleaning device (), the inkjet printing head () can both couple with the protective cap () and carry out the programmed cleaning cycles, while it is arranged in a single determined position (P) to the side of the relative printing stroke.

Inkjet printer with cleaning device

Paper feeding device () for ink jet photographic printers, comprising a paper feeding motor () for preparing and feeding sheets to be printed () for printing. The feeding device () is characterized in that it comprises a changeover mechanism () disposed downstream of the paper feeding motor () and suitable for activation in response to predetermined operating conditions of the printer for moving a sheet () at high speed in the preparation stage and at high resolution in association with printing.
