A device () for detecting microleakages from kegs () and similar containers containing a liquid with CO2 under pressure is provided with an outlet mouth () and a sealing valve (). The device () includes a detection head () adapted to seal and couple with the keg () at the outlet mouth (). The detection head () includes a measuring chamber () adapted to face over the outlet mouth (). A light source () has an infrared component with wavelengths corresponding to CO2 absorption wavelengths facing the measuring chamber (). A light sensor () faces the measuring chamber () for detecting the infrared light component with wavelengths corresponding to the CO2 absorption wavelengths emitted in the measuring chamber () by the light source (). The measuring chamber () includes at least one air inlet () and at least one air vent ().
