In a method for determining a position, in particular of a vehicle, a first position determination entity is defined as the active position determination entity. The position determined by the active position determination entity is output as the currently determined position. A further position determination entity is started and determines a position on the basis of the received sensor data. If the further position determination entity has reached a stable status, it is defined as the active position determination entity.

Method for determining a position

A method is described in particular for reducing interference due to phase noise in a radar system, in which in a first noncoherent transceiver unit (NKSE) a first signal (sigTX) is generated and transmitted, in particular emitted, via a path (SP), in a further, in particular second noncoherent transceiver unit (NKSE), a first signal (sigTX) is generated and transmitted, in particular emitted, via the path (SP), the signals (sigTXand sigTX) are received directly or indirectly in the respective other transceiver unit and are processed further therein as received signals sigRXand sigRX, in the first transceiver unit (NKSE), a comparison signal (sigC) is formed from its first signal (sigTX) and from such a first signal (sigRTX) received from the further transceiver unit (NKSE) via the path (SP), and in the further transceiver unit (NKSE), a further comparison signal (sigC) is formed from its first signal (sigTX) and from such a first signal (sigTX) received from the first transceiver unit (NKSE) via the path (SP), wherein the further comparison signal (sigC) is transmitted, in particular communicated, from the further transceiver unit (NKSE) to the first transceiver unit (NKSE), wherein in a first step, deviations of the signals sigCand sigCwhich are induced by systematic deviations in the transceiver units (NKSE, NKSE), are compensated for, wherein in a second step, at least one complex value from a first of the two comparison signals or from a signal which was derived from this first comparison signal is used for the purpose of adapting at least one complex value of the second of the two comparison signals or a value of a signal which was derived from the second comparison signal, and thus to form a signal (sigCC), wherein the adaptation takes place such that by a mathematical operation, the vector sum or the difference of the complex values is formed or the sum or the difference of the phases of the complex values is formed.

Method and system for reducing interference caused by phase noise in a radar system

A wave-based method has at least two reference stations () transmit signals (s, s; s, s). The signals are transmitted almost at the same time (S, S), are transmitted in the same frequency range, and are separable using a multiplexing method. At least one of the sending reference stations (), besides transmitting its own signal (s, s), also receives at least one signal (s, s) sent by another reference station () at the same time and determines a time stagger (&#x3c4;) and/or a phase angle between its own transmission and the reception with high precision. At least one receiving station () which at least receives the signals (s, s) receives the signals (s, s) from at least two of the reference stations (). A system and stations perform the wave-based method.

System and method using reference stations and a receiving station

A circuit arrangement and a method for synchronizing clocks in a network is provided, comprising a plurality of at least two nodes, wherein at least two of said nodes can communicated with each other and each have a local clock, wherein, in a receiving one of said nodes, from at least one transmitting other such node, a global time transmitted by said transmitting one of said node of said transmitting one of said nodes is received, and a global time of said receiving node is determined or estimated as a function of both the received global time of said transmitting node and of a local time of the receiving node's own local clock.
