The invention relates to a wastegate arrangement for an exhaust gas turbocharger comprising a turbine housing () having a bearing mount (), wherein the bearing mount () receives a bearing bushing () having a drilled hole (), wherein the drilled hole () holds a shaft () having a first shaft end () disposed in the turbine housing (), and having a second shaft end () retained outside the turbine housing (), wherein the first shaft end () of the shaft () is coupled to a wastegate flap () disposed in the turbine housing () to close a wastegate passage () in a closed position and to release a wastegate passage () in an open position, wherein the shaft () bears an actuating lever () at its second shaft end () outside of the turbine housing (), wherein the bearing bushing () has a second bearing bushing end (), which faces the actuating lever () in the zone of the outer surface of the turbine housing (), wherein a spring element (), a second spring end () of which rests indirectly or directly on a support surface () of the actuating lever (), is used, and wherein the support surface () is disposed at least sectionally around the shaft (). In order to achieve improved operational reliability in such a wastegate arrangement, provision is made in accordance with the invention for the turbine housing () to have a pressure surface (), that the pressure surface () is disposed offset in the axial direction of the shaft () in the direction of the first shaft end () with respect to the second bearing bushing end (), and for a first spring end () of the spring element (), which faces away from the second spring end (), to rest on the pressure surface () of the turbine housing () to generate a spring preload between the pressure surface () and the support surface ().

Wastegate arrangement for an exhaust gas turbocharger

A bearing housing for an exhaust gas turbocharger may include a bearing housing cover arranged on a bearing housing wall. The bearing housing cover may include a penetrating rotation-symmetrical sealing recess with a centre axis and may have a locating surface facing the bearing housing wall and radially extending from the centre axis. The bearing housing may include a sealing bush arranged in at least one region of the sealing recess. The sealing bush may have a stop surface arranged opposite the locating surface and may include a penetrating shaft recess disposed rotation-symmetrical relative to the centre axis. The bearing housing cover may further include an at least partly circulating groove disposed on the locating surface radially spaced from the centre axis. The groove may include a drainage region arranged below the centre axis and extending from the centre axis radially to an outside.

Bearing housing and an exhaust gas turbocharger with such a housing

A bearing for an exhaust gas turbocharger may include an annular body and a centrally arranged passage opening for bearing a shaft at least one of axially and radially with respect to a rotation axis. The body may include an oil pocket, a wedge surface extending at least partially in a circumferential direction, and a detent surface circumferentially spaced from the oil pocket via the wedge surface. The detent surface may include a predetermined wear height configured to be worn down over an operating lifespan of the bearing. A radially inner flange may extend at least partially along the wedge surface in the circumferential direction and define an inner sealing web. A radially outer flange may extend at least partially along the wedge surface in the circumferential direction and define an outer sealing web.

Axial bearing

A bearing for a turbocharger may include an annular body and a centrally arranged passage opening for bearing a shaft at least one of axially and radially with respect to a rotation axis. The body may include at least one segment extending at least partially about the passage opening in a circumferential direction. The at least one segment may include an oil pocket, a circumferentially extending wedge surface and a detent surface circumferentially spaced from the oil pocket. The segment may also include a radially inner flange extending at least partially along the wedge surface in the circumferential direction. The inner flange may define an inner sealing web that may continue uninterruptedly into the detent surface.
