An electrical component having a DC link capacitor and an EMC filter. The electrical component includes an input port and an output port. The EMC filter includes a first filter stage and a second filter stage. The first filter stage is arranged between the input port and the DC link capacitor, and the second filter stage is arranged between the output port and the DC link capacitor. Another aspect concerns a method for manufacturing an electronic component.

In an embodiment an EMC filter component includes a first interface, a second interface, a filter circuit, a mechanical connection and a DC-Link capacitor as a circuit element, wherein the filter circuit is electrically connected between the first interface and the second interface, wherein the mechanical connection is configured for mechanically connecting the EMC filter component to an external mounting location, and wherein the mechanical connection is configured for electrically connecting the filter circuit to a ground potential of the external mounting location.

A filter component for filtering an interference signal. The filter component includes at least one multilayer ceramic capacitor having a main body, in which multiple ceramic layers and internal electrodes are stacked one above another, and connection contacts are arranged at the main body. The ceramic layers include a lead lanthanum zirconate titanate ceramic, for example.

A filter component includes a housing body. A first and at least one second busbar each have a first end section, and a second end section, between which in each case a center section is arranged. The end sections of the busbars each have connections for connecting electrical conductors to the filter component. The first and second end section and the center section of the first busbar are arranged in a first plane and the first and second end section and the center section of the at least one second busbar are arranged in a second plane, which is different from the first plane.

A removable rocker switch unit () has a housing () and an ON- and an OFF-position removably fixed to the first end of the housing (). The rocker switch () has two pairs of vertically and horizontally aligned connector elements (). The housing () provides two chambers, each chamber for each phase of the rocker switch () including a first and a second connecting elements () in each chamber arranged to be connected by a fuse (), a current limiter () or both in a series connection and/or by a varistor () between connecting elements () of the two different phases.

An EMC power filter comprising a filter circuit and a conductive housing enclosing the filter circuit, wherein said filter circuit comprises: at least one electric conductor consisting in a rigid busbar for carrying an electric power, at least one ferromagnetic element for modifying the impedance of the electric conductor, at least one capacitor electrically connected between the electric conductor and the conductive housing. The housing has a tubular shape with a square cross section, allowing a rotation of the filter of 90&#xb0; within the housing.

Feed through EMC filter

An EMC filter circuit () has an essentially rigid busbar () for carrying an electric power to which is superposed a noise component in a conductive housing (), which connected to ground. The filter () has two main elements inductors () increasing an impedance of the bus bar and capacitors () connected between the busbar () and the conductive housing (). The capacitors () are inserted and tightly held solderless in position between the conductive housing () and the electric conductor (). One advantage comes from the fact, that flat connection elements are arranged on both sides of the capacitors (), which allow an easy manufacturing process.

EMC filter circuit

A Passive harmonic filter (F) has an input node (B) for connection to a power supply (), an output node (C) for connection to a load () and an intermediate node (A). A first branch () located between the input node (B) and the intermediate node (A) has at least one first inductance (). A second branch () located between the intermediate node (A) and the output node (C) has at least one second inductance (). A third branch () is connected to the intermediate node (A) and has at least one capacitor (). The first, second and third branch thus build a low-pass T-filter. A damping branch () is provided having at least one first resistor (), where the damping branch is arranged in parallel to the first branch.
