A wipe article is provided for cleansing and providing gentle exfoliation. The article is a water-insoluble substrate laden with a fluid cosmetic composition that includes a skin benefit agent delivered in a carrier. The substrate is a woven or non-woven fibrous web with first and second major surfaces, at least one of the major surfaces having formed thereon an array of projections, the array including from at least 2 to about 20 projections per cm. Each projection is formed of a material different than that of the substrate and is raised from the substrate at a highest point thereof a distance from 100 to 2,000 micron. The projections are formed of at least 20 microbeads per projection.

A disposable, single-use, personal care article is disclosed having an active zone, an adjacent non-active zone, and interface therebetween; a benefit agent releasably associated with the active zone; a carrier solvent and optionally a visual indicator associated with the active zone. In one embodiment, the benefit agent, the carrier solvent, and a dye indicator are combined and applied as stripes on the article. The stripes will not substantially bleed into the adjacent non-active zone and will disappear during use of the article indicating that the benefit agent has been transferred to the skin or hair of the user.

A towelette product is provided which includes a first water-insoluble substrate having dorsal and ventral surfaces, a second water-insoluble substrate having dorsal and ventral surfaces, the dorsal surfaces of the first and second substrates being joined to one another. A personal care composition is deposited onto an area of the second ventral surface, the first ventral surface having a dry-to-the-touch feel, the second ventral surface on the deposit area having a non-dry-to-the-touch feel, the first ventral surface having a FTV of not higher than 0.1 grams.

Personal care towelette article

A substantially dry composition, especially for personal care products is provided which includes a colorant activatable in water to release a visual color, and an oil-soluble carrier. The colorant is insoluble in the carrier and the visual color is not imparted to the composition in its substantially dry state. Addition of water to the composition activates a color change which renders the visual color perceivable by a consumer. Color changes can be associated as a signal of performance by a consumer.
