The brain control interface system comprises: a brain control interface configured to detect brain signals indicative of brain activity of a user in an environment, an input configured to obtain data indicative of a current light scene of one or more lighting devices in the environment, a memory configured to store processing methods associated with different light scenes, one or more processor configured to: select, from the processing methods stored in the memory, a processing method in accordance with the current light scene, apply the selected processing method to obtain and/or process the brain signals, derive a control command and/or a mental state of the user from the brain signals, and control the controllable device based on the derived control command and/or the derived mental state.

Brain control interface system for controlling a controllable device

The invention provides a lighting device comprising a transmitter, a controller and a sensor; wherein the controller is configured to control the transmitter to repeatedly transmit a second wireless message interleaved with a first wireless message, wherein the first wireless message has a first duration and comprises a first signal, wherein the second wireless message has a second duration and comprises a second signal; wherein the first duration and/or the second duration is adaptive during a lifetime of the lighting device; wherein the controller is configured to receive a measurement from the sensor and control the transmitter to transmit the second wireless message comprising the second signal comprising the measurement.

Lighting device

A lighting device (31) is configured to determine a group of service-providing devices (41-44) and determine a schedule for the service-providing devices in the group. The group (101) comprises at least two service-providing devices capable of performing a similar or a same lighting service. The schedule indicates for each service-providing device of the group in which time period the service-providing device is able to receive messages such that at least one device of the determined group of service-providing devices is able to receive messages. The lighting device is configured to transmit the schedule to the service-providing devices.
