Various embodiments of the present disclosure include a thermal ablation probabilistic controller () employing an ablation probability model () trained to render a pixel ablation probability for each pixel of an ablation scan image illustrative of a static anatomical ablation. In operation, the thermal ablation probabilistic controller () spatially aligns a temporal sequence of ablation scan datasets representative of a dynamic anatomical ablation, and applies the ablation probability model () to the spatial alignment of the temporal sequence of ablation scan datasets to render the pixel ablation probability for each pixel of the ablation scan image illustrative of the static anatomical ablation.

An ultrasound system for identifying a vessel of a subject comprises: an ultrasound probe configured to simultaneously acquire a sequence of ultrasound blood flow data frames (such as a sequence of ultrasound Doppler data frames) and a sequence of ultrasound B-mode data frames of a region of interest including the vessel over a predetermined time period; a blood flow region selecting unit configured to select a blood flow region in the sequence of blood flow data frames; and a vessel segmenting unit configured to segment the vessel in at least one frame of the sequence of ultrasound B-mode data frames based on the selected blood flow region. Since there is no need to manually place any seed point for vessel segmentation any more, the user dependency is reduced and a fast measurement is made possible.

An infusion system for sonothrombolysis treatment uses a syringe loaded with a microbubble solution and operated by a syringe pump to deliver the microbubble solution to a subject during sonothrombolysis treatment. To prevent the stratification of the microbubble solution in the barrel of the syringe during treatment, the barrel also contains a plurality of magnetic beads which are agitated into semi-random patterns of motion in the syringe chamber during the procedure. The magnetic beads are moved by magnetic attraction and repulsion from the moving magnets of a magnetic stirrer mounted in proximity to the syringe during treatment.

Infusion system and method for sonothrombolysis stroke treatment

Bubble presence within a region is monitored to determine if a predetermined condition is met such as whether the presence is of sufficient magnitude, the bubbles being subject to energizing (). In some embodiments, the energizing only occurs when time- wise preceded by the determination (S, S). The determining can include measuring a grayscale value (), or assessing the energy carried by a frequency component of the echo signal, in the region in real time. The energizing may occur region-by-region, automatically and without need for user intervention, in a treatment pass (S) over the regions. The regions () in the pass might be subject to respective instances of the energizing without intervening monitoring, or, in another embodiment, to both the determining and the responsive energizing. The determining can be subject to, automatically and without need for user intervention, interruption (S) and concurrent switching to a next region.

Automated ultrasound mediated delivery

A device degasses fluid in a circulation loop. The device includes a degassing chamber coupled inline with the circulation loop, where a vacuum within the degassing chamber draws out dissolved gas and water vapor from the fluid. The degassing chamber has an opening enabling gas and water vapor drawn out from the fluid, and condensation formed from the water vapor, to flow out as a result of gravitational pull. The device further includes a cooler coupled to the opening in the degassing chamber and a water trap coupled to the cooler. The cooler includes a heat exchanger configured to condense a remaining portion of the water vapor into liquid, where the condensation and liquid accumulate in the water trap. The degassing chamber, water trap and cooler are maintained under vacuum, where the degassing chamber is maintained under vacuum through the opening via the cooler and the water trap.

A hardware-based circuitry for digital processing for color saturation control circuitry, brightness control circuitry, contrast control circuitry, and color hue control circuitry, some or all of which can be added to the luminance/chrominance (Y/C) signals to the red green blue (RGB) digital YCbCr-to-RGB conversion circuitry that is required by devices such as an LCoS display device. Digital YCbCr-to-RGB conversion circuitry transforms the Y/C signals to RGB domain, required by, for example, the LCoS display device. Control circuitry according to the present invention to control color saturation, brightness, contrast and color hue is added to this YCbCr-to-RGB conversion circuitry.

A system and method allows a high-bandwidth serial or parallel digital video broadcast data signal to be monitored on a low-cost digital display device such as a computer monitor. The system includes means for extracting horizontal and vertical synchronization information and clock from the digital video broadcast data signal, and a transmitter converting the digital video data signal and the horizontal and vertical synchronization information and the clock into a Digital Visual Interface (DVI)-compliant digital video data signal. Beneficially, the system also includes: a color space converter converting the digital video broadcast data signal from a first color format to a second color format; a serial video data receiver receiving a serial digital video broadcast data signal and providing parallel non-return to zero inverted (NRZI) digital video data and a clock, synchronized to the parallel NRZI digital video data; an NRZI descrambler receiving the parallel NRZI digital video data and providing therefrom framed parallel digital video data; and a scan converter converting the digital video data signal into a digital video format suitable for display on the digital display device.

Digital video data signal processing system and method of processing digital video data signals for display by a DVI-compliant digital video display

A system that utilizes a determined time between characteristics from content for subsequently identifying the content and/or the corresponding content review position in the time domain. The system utilizes a database of previously stored time between characteristics from known content for matching to the determined time between characteristics from the content source. The characteristics may correspond to video tape indexing data, keyframe data, audio characteristics, text occurrences, and/or other known characteristics from the content. When a match is found between the determined time between characteristics and the stored times between characteristics, the system identifies the content. If corresponding time domain data is stored in the database, the system identifies the current content review position in the time domain. When the time between characteristics from the content does not match any of the times stored in the database, the system stores the current time between characteristics and corresponding content identifying information in the database for identifying the content at some subsequent time.
