A determination is made whether at least one of the hardware and software on the computing device includes at least one regulatory non-compliance issue. In response to determining that at least one of the hardware and software on the computing device includes at least one regulatory non-compliance issue, one or more scripts are executed on the hardware and software on the computing device to cause the hardware and software to resolve the at least one regulatory non-compliance issue based on the regulatory profile for the computing device.

The processor(s) cognitively analyze the video, by applying an image recognition algorithm to identify image entities in each temporal shot of the video and by applying a data structure comprising a user profile of the user to the temporal shots, to identity personal entities in each temporal shot of the video. The program code generates a search index for the video, utilizing the user entities (image entities and personal entities), where each entry of the search index is a given user entity and a linkage to a given temporal shot and the linkage indicates a location of the given user entity in the timeline of the video.

In an approach to managing obfuscation of regulated sensitive data, one or more computer processors detect content for display on a computing device. One or more computer processors analyze the content for sensitive data. A tool for protecting outdoor objects from weather related damage. Responsive to a registration request, the tool registers an object and an originating location where the object is currently located. The tool determines whether a risk threshold for the object is exceeded based, at least in part, on weather conditions at the originating location. Responsive to a determination that the risk threshold for the object is exceeded, the tool instructs one or more drones to relocate the object from an originating location to a protected location that is protected from the weather conditions.

A method and system to assist people traveling together through a transport hub. Access to personal data is provided for members of a group of people traveling together through the transport hub for a trip. A preferred route is mapped, from a current location of the group, for each person to travel through the transport hub. A group route, which is route to be commonly used by each person of the group, is selected. Sub-groups of members are selected to travel through the transport hub together in response to matching personal data. The personal data, travel data for the group, and transport hub data corresponding to the transport hub are monitored. Each person is alerted, in response to the monitored values, to begin moving from the current location towards a departure location along the selected group route to arrive at the departure location at a desired arrival time.

A method, an apparatus, a system, and a computer program product for managing safety for a railway system. A computer system generates a probability of a safety issue for a particular section of a railroad track in the railway system using information from a set of weather event sources. A set of unmanned aerial vehicles is dispatched to the particular section of the railroad track when the probability of the safety issue exceeds a threshold. A number of images of the particular section of the railroad track is received from the set of unmanned aerial vehicles. A risk score for the safety issue at the particular section of the railroad track is generated using the number of images by the computer system. An action is performed to resolve the safety issue using the risk score, enabling the computer system to manage safety issues for the railway system.

Railway monitoring system and method

Real-time detection and alerting for swimming pool safety includes obtaining signals from sensor devices installed in a swimming pool area having a swimming pool, ascertaining, based on the obtained signals, that an individual has entered the swimming pool and identifying, based on the obtained signals, characteristics of the individual who has entered the swimming pool, determining whether to raise an alert about the individual having entered the swimming pool, the determining being based at least in part on location of one or more other individuals relative to the swimming pool area and on checking pre-configured parameters for alerting, and performing processing based on the determining whether to raise an alert.

The methods include, for instance: obtaining an input including an image of a plant, identifying a species of the plant by use of visual recognition of the image. A method, system, and/or computer program product controls positioning of cargo being loaded onto a cargo vehicle based on sensor readings from another cargo vehicle. One or more processors receive output from a cargo sensor that describes shifting experienced by a first cargo while being transported by a first cargo vehicle, and based on the output, determine that the first cargo has shifted beyond a predetermined amount. The processor(s) transmit instructions to a robotic cargo loader of second cargo being loaded onto a second cargo vehicle to adjust a positioning of the second cargo while being loaded onto the second cargo vehicle based on the first cargo shifting beyond the predetermined amount while being transported by the first cargo vehicle, where the positioning of the second cargo in the second cargo vehicle is different from a positioning of the first cargo on the first cargo vehicle.

A method directs a self-driving cargo vehicle to take an alternate route based on cargo sensor readings from another cargo vehicle. One or more processors receive output from a cargo sensor and a camera, which describe an amount of movement of first cargo being transported by a first cargo vehicle on a first cargo vehicle. The processor(s) evaluate a profile of a controller on a second cargo vehicle, which is a self-driving vehicle, and which is transporting second cargo that is a same type of cargo as the first cargo. The processor(s) determine an alternate route for the second cargo vehicle, and then transmit instructions to the controller to take the second cargo vehicle on the alternate route.
