The present disclosure generally relates to user interfaces for managing user contributions and activity for shared files and folder. With respect to a document, at least a portion of the document is presented. User input in the form of a request to shift the document in a first direction is received. In response to the request passing a predetermined boundary, indications of content contribution attributable to different users is displayed. With respect to one or more digital files, a user input component is presented and is associated with the one or more digital files. User input is received via the user input component. In response to the received user input, an update activity panel is presented which shows multiple activity attributable to different users.

Adaptive user interfaces and techniques therefor are provided. In accordance with one example, a method includes, at an electronic device having a display: displaying a first user interface comprising a first affordance associated with a first function and a second affordance associated with a second function, and detecting a first event causing the device to transition from the first state to a second state, where the display is deactivated in the second state. The method also includes detecting, while the device is in the second state, a second event causing the device to transition from the second state to a third state, where the display is activated in the third state, and in response to detecting the second event, displaying a second user interface comprising the first affordance displayed in the second user interface at a second location different from the first location, and not comprising the second affordance.

Apparatus and methods are provided for determining, recommending, and applying a calibration parameter to collected activity data. In one embodiment, calibration parameter is estimated based on physical aspects of the user and automatically applied to collected data. In another embodiment, the calibration parameter is determined based on secondary data which is more precise than the data which is collected. The calibration factor based on the more precise data may comprise a recommended calibration factor, yet the user may be enabled to select any calibration factor he/she prefers via an interactive display. In one specific variant, the activity comprises a walk or run activity of the user, and the calibration parameter comprises the user's specific stride length. In another variant, the user selects a calibration factor by reviewing a list of previous activity against that same activity after calibration given a particular calibration factor is applied.

Methods and apparatus for determining, recommending, and applying a calibration parameter for activity measurement

Embodiments are disclosed in which a process receives annotation inputs for annotations of a document. The annotation inputs may be grouped together into clusters based at least in part on a functional relationship between the timing of annotation inputs and the paths of the annotation inputs across an electronic display. The annotation inputs may be associated with portions of the document based at least in part on the shape of the paths of the annotation inputs, the sequence of annotation inputs, or the locations of the annotation inputs. Additionally, the paths of the annotation inputs to portions of the document may be modified in response to modifications of the portion of the document data.
