An alignable conformal, cup-shaped flag-mushroom fluidic nozzle assembly is engineered to generate a flat fan or sheet oscillating spray of viscous fluid product. The nozzle assembly includes a cylindrical flag mushroom fluidic cup memberhaving a substantially closed distal end wall with a centrally located snout defined therein. The flag mushroom cup assembly effectively splits the operating features of the fluidic circuit between a lower or proximal portion formed in the housing's sealing post member and an upper, or distal portion formed in cup memberwhich, in cooperation with the sealing post's distal surface, defines an interaction chamberfed by impinging jets each comprising a continuous distribution of streamlines that impinge at selected angles to define arcs providing a lesser degree of impingement at a centered axial plane within the exit orificeand a greater degree of impingement at the edges of exit orifice

Flag mushroom cup nozzle assembly and method

Provided is a dual spray nozzle tip assembly having a geometry that is split into several sub components to enable robust manufacturing and assembly of the resulting nozzle. The nozzle tip assembly is configured to be attached to a device configured to provide a pressurized fluid and gas therefrom. The nozzle tip assembly comprising an elongated body defining a fluid lumen and at least one gas lumen between a distal end and a proximal end. The elongated body including at least an attachment profile, a straight portion, and an outlet region. The outlet region defines a shear nozzle in communication with the fluid lumen and at least one gas outlet in communication with the at least one gas lumen, the outlet region is configured to direct pressurized gas from the at least one gas outlet and to produce a desired spray pattern from the shear nozzle.

Dual spray nozzle tip assembly

A conformal, cup-shaped fluidic oscillator spray nozzle member () is configured to generate one or more oscillating sprays from fluid flowing into a substantially open proximal end and distally into a substantially closed distal end wall with one or more centrally located orifices defined therein. A multi-input, multi-output cup-shaped fluidic oscillator () is configured to generate a selected fluid spray from a plurality of (e.g., 2-8) fluid product inlets which are configured in interacting pairs and feed into a common interaction region of the fluidic nozzle geometry.
