Devices and methods for securing a cover of a retrieval device while the retrieval device is resheathed to a more proximal position within a delivery sheath are disclosed herein. A retrieval device may include, for example, a securing element configured to grip the cover when the retrieval device is pulled proximally, to thereby secure the cover. A method of positioning the retrieval device may include, for example: (a) advancing the retrieval device distally through a delivery sheath to a partially deployed state while the securing element is in a first state, and (b) retracting the clot retrieval proximally from the partially deployed state while the securing element is in a second state that grips the cover to secure the cover.

Securing element for resheathing an intravascular device and associated systems and methods

A medical device can include an elongate manipulation member, and a thrombectomy device connected to the elongate manipulation member. The thrombectomy device can have a first configuration and a second configuration, the thrombectomy device being expandable from the first configuration to the second configuration. The thrombectomy device can include an arcuate marker-mounting projection attached to a portion of the thrombectomy device configured to contact a thrombus. A marker can be coupled to, and extending around, the arcuate marker-mounting projection with the marker and the arcuate marker-mounting projection contacting each other at three discrete locations. A method for engaging a thrombus can include advancing a thrombectomy device to a location radially adjacent to a thrombus in a blood vessel. The thrombectomy device can be positioned such that a marker, disposed at a proximal end of a working length of thrombectomy device, is proximal to or longitudinally aligned with a proximal end of the thrombus, and can be expanded into the thrombus.

Vascular device marker attachment

Devices for removing clot material from a blood vessel lumen and associated systems and methods are disclosed herein. A clot retrieving device may include, for example, an elongated shaft, a capture structure having a proximal portion and a distal portion, and a cover having a first portion coupled to the elongated shaft and a second portion extending from the first portion. The cover may have an inverted configuration in which the capture structure is at least partially ensheathed within the first portion of the cover and the second portion of the cover extends distally from the first portion. In the inverted configuration, the second portion may have (a) a first region distal to a distal terminus of the capture structure, the first region tapering radially inwardly in a distal direction, and (b) a second region extending distally and radially outwardly from the first region.

Retrieval of material from vessel lumens

A vascular remodeling device has a plurality of sections, sized for deployment in a blood vessel, that is radially expandable from a collapsed state to an expanded state. Each section has a plurality of interconnected struts that define a waist, a proximal face, and a distal face. Each face comprises (i) a plurality of distal strut portions extending proximally from a distal side of the face, (ii) a plurality of proximal strut portions extending distally from a proximal side of the face, and (iii) a plurality of sub-struts, wherein, from each proximal strut portion, two of the sub-struts each extend to a different one of the distal strut portions.

Vascular remodeling device

Devices for loading intravascular treatment devices into a sheath and associated systems and methods are disclosed herein. A sheathing tool may include, for example, a first channel extending to a first opening, the first channel configured to receive a treatment device in a constrained state therethrough. The treatment device may include an elongated member and a first element and a second element at a distal region of the elongated member. The second channel may extend to a second opening, the second opening surrounded by a sidewall and configured to receive the treatment device in the constrained state therethrough, wherein the second opening is spaced apart from the first opening by a gap, and wherein a length of the gap is great enough to allow the first element to self-expand over the sidewall while the second element generally maintains its diameter in the constrained state while crossing the gap.

Tools for sheathing treatment devices and associated systems and methods

Devices for removing clot material from a blood vessel lumen and associated systems and methods are disclosed herein. A clot retrieving device may include, for example, an elongated shaft, a capture structure, a cover, and a connector coupled to the distal zone of elongated shaft. The connector may include an inner band and an outer band. The inner band may at least partially surround the distal zone of the elongated shaft and a portion of the proximal region of the capture structure, and the outer band may at least partially surround the inner band. In some embodiments, the first end portion of the cover may be secured between the inner band and the outer band.

A stent delivery system can include a core member, first and second restraints, and a stent engagement component. The core member can have a distal segment. The first and second restraints can be coupled to the core member distal segment and axially spaced apart from each other to provide an axial gap. The first and second restraints can each have an outer profile that tapers radially inwardly in directions away from the gap. The stent engagement component can be at least partially disposed in the axial gap between the first and second restraints such that the component is slidably and rotatably coupled to the core member distal segment.

Luminal stenting

Vasculature models and associated systems and methods are disclosed herein. In some embodiments, the model comprises a tube including a lumen extending therethrough, a synthetic thrombus including a magnetic component, and a magnetized member. The thrombus is sized to be positioned within the lumen, and the magnetized member is positioned peripheral to the thrombus such that a radially outward force is exerted on the thrombus via the magnetized member. The tube may be part of a network of tubes that generally resemble human neurovasculature.

A clot retrieving device may include, for example, an elongated shaft, a capture structure, a cover, and a connector coupled to the elongated shaft proximal of the capture structure. The connector may include an inner band and an outer band, wherein (a) the inner band at least partially surrounds a portion of the distal zone of the elongated shaft, (b) the outer band at least partially surrounds the inner band, and (c) the first portion of the cover is secured between the inner band and the outer band.

A vascular remodeling device is provided. The device has an anchor portion, sized for deployment in a blood vessel, that is radially expandable from a collapsed state to an expanded state. The device also includes a distal portion sized for deployment in a blood vessel. The distal portion is radially expandable from a collapsed state to an expanded state and has a distal face that is sufficiently occlusive in the distal-to-proximal direction to perform a therapeutic blocking function in an aneurysm neck. The device also has an intermediate portion that interconnects a distal end of the anchor portion and a proximal end of the distal portion. In some embodiments, the anchor portion and/or distal portion has a plurality of interconnected struts.

Devices for removing clot material from a blood vessel lumen and associated systems and methods are disclosed herein. A clot retrieving device may include, for example, an elongated member, a cover having proximal, intermediate, and distal portions. The cover may be slideably coupled to the distal region of the elongated member at a connector. The cover may have an inner layer and an outer layer. The inner layer may have (a) a first cross-sectional dimension at the proximal portion of the cover, (b) a distally increasing cross-sectional dimension along the intermediate portion of the cover, and (c) a second cross-sectional dimension at the distal portion of the cover, wherein the second cross-sectional dimension is greater than the first cross-sectional dimension. The outer layer may have a cross-sectional dimension that is generally constant along the distal portion and the intermediate portion of the cover.
